If you're talking about popular pedals, then you must always start with the vintage/classic ones... the ones that boutique builders base their products on. Here are some old pedals:

- Maxon OD-9/Ibanez TS9/TS808
- BOSS DS-1
- BOSS SD-1
- BOSS DM-3
- Dallas Rangemaster
- Dallas Arbiter Fuzz-Face
- Colorsound Tone Bender
- Colorsound Powerboost
- Fender Blender
- Thomas Organ Cry Baby
- Roger Mayer Octavia
- MXR Phase 90
- MXR Flanger
- MXR 10-band EQ
- MXR Envelope Filter
- MXR Dyna Comp
- MXR Distortion+
- ProCo RAT
- Brent K. Butler Tube Driver
- TC Electronic Stereo Chorus Flanger
- BOSS CE-1
- Maestro Echoplex (technically not a pedal)
- Univox Uni-vibe
- Heil Talkbox
- Ibanez CP9 Compressor Limiter
- Mutron/Mutron II/Mutron III
- Mutron Bi-Phase
- Electro-Harmonix Small Stone
- Electro-Harmonix Small Clone
- Electro-Harmonix Big Muff
- Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Memory Man
- Ross Compressor

Search for each vintage pedal na lang then makikita mo kung anu-ano yung equivalent modern pedal nya (ex. Fulltone Soul-Bender = Tone Bender). Bahala na yung iba mag-fill in sayo sa mga modern pedals :)
