Earth ground lang. Ganito: Chassis Ground ng mga amps rack to EARTH GROUND, your longest SCREW DRIVER will do. Just tap a wire.
Same with the mixer... kahit yung mixer lang ang i-earth ground mo OK na.

The problem is: Paano kung puro concrete floors ang nasa paligid? hirap niyan... EARTH GROUND the MAIN LINE. ( make sure you ground the " ground " ... not the live hehehehe )

+1... karamihan kasi sa may mga sound system, pinuputol or hindi ginagamit yung 3rd wire (Green), kaya madalas ma ground yung Vocalist & Guitarist sa wired vocal mic.

+1 din sa earth ground. you only need to connect the equipment chassis to earth even via a thin piece of wire tapos alligator clips lang para ikabet sa equipment... it will save lives.

as for the ground spot pag puro concrete talaga ang lugar you may try the nearest sink at ikabit sa water conduit pero pag wala na talaga sa mga aluminum holders ng jalousey or any large metallic object but its not a guarantee. yung telephone cabling grounded yun diba?

for live/mobile set-ups you may bring with you a long iron rod with a length of wire attached to it. just stoke the rod as deep as you can to the ground and you may even pour water to enhance conductivity with ground.

avoid connecting multiple equipment/chassis ground to one iron rod as this may cause ground loop hums.

look for the nearest water pipe, scrape off any paint or dirt off the pipe and wrap your ground wire around that.....next question...how do you check if your connection is good?  get your tester and set it to test impedance and check if there is continuity between the pipe and the other end of your ground wire.  again, just scrape off a bit of paint a few inches away from where you  tapped your ground wire.

N.B.:   make sure that that pipe is part of their current water system and is of iron, not PVC......(it may sound stupid but I have seen others people tap on PVC)

A long time ago i did see one of my collegue's trying to add oil in his engine using the small hole for the dipstick, same problem, no picture............... and that was not in the Phillipines

pwede, i set sa Volts AC ang tester, connect 1 probe on mic or mixer chassis, hold other tester probe and step on floor with no footwear.. papalo ang tester if analog and may reading if digital,, no danger of electric shock kasi high impedance ang voltmeter

medyo Off topic, tanong ko lang pano ko malalagyan ng ground yung output jack ng guitar ko? kase pag hawak ko yung output jack ng guitar ko nawawala yung hum ng amp ko pero pag binitawan ko nagkakaroon ng hum, yung amp ko kase pinutol ng taga yamaha yuung ground wire niya bago ko pa yun nabili.
