PerfClinic II and PerfJam II

I'm honored to be a part of organizing the next set of PerfEvents this August !

August 21, a Tuesday, is slated for PerfClinic II and PerfJam II all on one night !!!

Here's how it goes. First the schedule.

What : PerfClinic II and PerfJam II
When :August 21, Tuesday
Where : Purple Haze Bar, Tomas Morato near corner of E. Rodriguez

Here's the time schedule :
5:30pm- Registration
6:00pm-9:00 pm - PerfClinic II
9:00pm- 2:00 am - PerfJam II.

Here are the fee mechanics. If you arrive for the PerfClinic, the ticket is P650, with P150 as consummable and is valid through the PerfJam.

If you arrive at 9pm and are there only for the PerfJam, the ticket is P150, all consummable.

Thus, you use your ticket to pay for your bill, treat it like a 150 peso bill at Purple Haze.

Si Maestro Perf na bahala to outline the content. But if it's anything like last year, I'm sure it will be worth worth worth going to !!!

Eto yung topics na balak ko pag-usapan sa clinic:

1) Hand Positioning and Mechanics
2) Efficient Practice Methods and Techniques
3) Fretboard memorization
4) Principles of Effective LH Fingering
5) Bends, Vibrato and Intonation

I will be assuming that everybody attending will have a basic knowledge of guitar playing and some theory. And for repeat attendees, I'm curious to see if the last clinic's content was applied to your playing and how they worked out for you.


Meron lang akong special requests, kung possible:

A) I'll be travelling light so hindi ako makakadala ng electric papuntang Pinas. Baka merong pwede magpahiram ng guitar for the event (HINT: Elegee or DAME ) Preferably Modern C profile yung neck, with floating Floyd, hum sing sing (pwede ding HSH), 10-46 string gauge, 9-42.

B) Jobet, oks na yung projector nyo... program na lang ako ng Slideshow sa laptop ko.

C) GLOCAL MEDIA, kindly PM or email me via my website and tell me more about that show you're doing. You're welcome to attend but I need to know what I'm getting myself into
