hi, had my first and only electric modded by Mang Max. super bait, his prices will really tempt you into having a custom made. hope a lot here will give him a shot...my knowledge on guitar craftmanship is next to nil, so i really can't give a useful comment on his work. all i know is there's a lot of potential in his tiny shop...

here's what i had done:

from the original stock Genesis Series (dunno what model, the highschool version of me molested the model number and paint off of the headstock)



to this:




had him strip off the paint, fill the trem cavity, paint the stripes to hide the new wood, change the humbuckers (just cheap generic korean w/c he bought), install new bridge and ferulles, install push/pull pot to switch humbuckers to series/parallel, install a humbucker pickup cover  custom made by him (wala lang, thought it looked cool...i had him add this after we've locked down on the price, he put it in free), replace the rusted neck joint plate, and replace stock locking nut to bullalo nut.

OK yung paintjob dude! Kaso lang bakit parang hindi angled yung neck joint? Mukhang tumaas din yung neck para mahabol yung high protrusion ng tune-o-matic bridge. Siguro sa angulo lang, congrats on the custom guitar!!!

pero hmmmm i want him to solve the common problem with sgs which is the neck is heavier than the body and the top is heavier than the bottom of the body?

swenty 7 ang silbi un kapg cra na yung pickup  papaltitan na ng copper wire tapos i wahwind  ng technician. kung gusto mo irecycle mo yung old pickups mo that's the purpose of rewinding

If Im not mistaken mahogany po yung body and ebony yung neck, kay Mang Max na po yung parts and accessories, natuwa ako sa tunog nya and sa pagkakagawa kasi talagang manipis yung neck and yung 5 way switching sya.
First position ay yung neck hum, 2nd > single coil tone ng neck pickup, 3rd > combination ng single coil tone ng neck and bridge pickup, 4th > single coil pickup ng bridge, and lastly ay yung hum bridge pickup. Medyo nalilito lang ako sa chords kasi first timer ako sa 7 string. hehehe....
