Title: Dinagyang Battle of Sounds 2010

Greetings! It has been a while that I start looking forward to Youtube posts and updates about Iloilo sound systems. Recently, they have again this battle of the sounds! I could say they really spend a lot for their system. Unfortunately, they all use their dialect. Hindi ko po maintindihan.
Any news about the recent event? who really won? How about this "new" Live amps and speakers? One of the videos show a setup with a Martin ASX clone! seryoso po talaga ito. any forum members who happened to go there? pls share some pictures if there are available, and links for the videos.

gawang china yang live bro. i was there during dinagyang last january 2010, taga manduriao ako sa JMF subd. dito lang ako naka base sa manila for my business, medyo saturate na kc sound system business sa iloilo at saka kailangan malakas ang sound system mo or else wala kang makuhang customer jok jok. i think ang magandang tumonog dyan na sound system is yong 5 brothers, high quality amplifiers ginagamit as well as speaker also. Sa RGL naman puro LEXUS at yang Live na yan.
In terms of quality of sounds, hindi naman kailangan malakas na tipong natatanggal ang bubong ng bahay, nasa quality ng pandinig yan. malakas nga sound system mo puro base naman marinig ie di wala rin di ba?

pumunta din ako sa dinagyang last Jamuary. one thing that i notice is they love to play their music really really loud. pag nakinig sila ng sound system sobrang lapit. first time na pumunta ako nag try ko lumapit haha wala pa 10 seconds umalis na ako.... di kaya ng puso ko... sa 5 brpthers, gamit nila crown amps amd JBL speaker. SA RGL gamit nila Lexus speakers and amps J force ang gumamit ng LIve speakers and Amps. makita nyo sa youtube Video c Rgl, 36 subwoofer pa lang nila... katabi nila ang J force na 20 subwoofer kasama na dun yung 4pcs Martin ASX clone narinig ko comment nila Sa live amps ay di daw sya umiinit kahit na matagal ang tugtugan... 2ohms stable daw kasi ang amplifier nila. try ko nga lumapit sa Martin ASX clone and danda ng bass nya... bilib talaga ako, Ganda ng bass, 21" Live speaker ang ginamit nila dun. Punta din ako sa judging area malapit sa Days hotel, another mobile company Marine mobile was assign there gamit naman nila QSC amps and 18" Live speakers.. ok din sound dun. Really enjoyed the festival sa Dinagyang... pero kinabukasan nag buzz ang tenga ko.. nag enjoy kasi sobra sa kaka king ng sound system dun. hahaha

Thanks for the sharing! the video clips never tells more than the hazy view of the amps, and the stacks. The rest are are too obscure especially the quality of the sound.
Kaya, iba talaga pag nakapunta ka doon. ulit, maraming salamat. meron din akong nakitang EV na amps, "thin" version - CP 4000? ito po ba yong mga switch amps from China?
Kamusta naman po ang quality ng sounds? bass, mid, and highs - naririnig po ba/ balance po ba?

real quality ang tunog bro. chest pounding bass, balance mid and high. yon nga lang di ka makalapit sa naka hilirang baffles kasi baka pumotok ang heart mo jok its really really loud. sayang mga hindi ko nadala ang spl meter ko sana nasukat ko pala.
mostly bro very sounds fanatic ang mga tao doon. ayaw nila ang tunog lata.

totooo yun. chest pounding talaga. biro mo ang RGL gamit nila 28 18" speaker 5" coil and 8 pcs 21" speaker pang sub pa lang yun. siguro 90 to 100pcs ang total speakers nila sa dinagyang :lol: puro Lexus speakers and amps ang RGL. ang J force gamit naman nila 8pcs 18" and 12pcs 21" speaker ang pang sub nila total speakers gamit nila pati mid and compression driver 48pcs puro Live speaker, compression driver and amps naman gamit ng J force. yung pinariringan ko nga na coke banner na gamit nila bakal. natangal na nga yung pako sa sobrang lakas ng bass. :lol: pansin ko nga na sound fanatic ang mga tao dun kasi pag set up pa lang, dami na umaaligid and minsan may dala pa tape measure para sukatin nila mga speaker cabinet.

:-) hindi ko akalain na gumagamit na rin sila ng 21" ng sub speakers. kaya malakas din ang amps nila for sure kasi mataas yata ang RMS rating ng 21". Magkano po pala ang rates ng rent doon for a mobile disco setup? mukhang nasa million ang budget ng mobile sounds nila. gumagamit pa sila ng pro amps like crown, and JVL speakers. wah!!! Im wondering how much these Live amps and speakers cost. im interested to know the power ratings of both live amps and the speakers too. I also heard there are more and more sound systems that prefer to use the switch amps.

di ko na alam kung magkano rental nila ng sound system. mahilig talaga sila sa sounds dun and may mga iba nagpicture silana gamit nila background ay ang mga speaker boxes habang tumutugtug :lol: happy sila pag may mga battles or paupas ng sound systems. madami ka makikita mag upload dun sa youtube :-D sunday night nga sa dinagyang. may street party sa area nina RGL, J Force and Marine Mobile sponsored by Campus Radio (Channel 7) dami sumayaw sa harap ng speakers. :lol: di ko kaya yun. tagal din nila sumayaw,natapos lang ang street party ng 10pm . pinatay na kasi ang kuryente ng lahat ng sound system. para rin makapag pahinga na din mga tao. may work and school pa kasi sila kinabukasan but last year i heard hangang 2am pa daw tugtugan dun. nakaka bitin din kasi dun na dumadami mga tao sumasayaw and nakikinig. Festive talaga ang atmosphere.

wala naman official na champion sa Dinagyang. kanya kanya taste na pagdating sa sound. all i can say is talagang kelangan matibay ang equipments mo pag sa Dinagyang. kung pansinin mo halos naka full voume ang mga amplifier nila and buti kung ilang minuto lang pero halos 1 day rin tuloy tuloy tugtog from morning to 10pm.in short torture test talga. :lol: dun mo malalaman kung matitibay ba ang mga speakers and amplifiers.

mga bro another post from 2010 Dinagyang as you can see. the people there are really hardcore listeners. they really enjy the loud bass yung parang hinahampas ka. libreng hard massage pa :lol: i notice na marami lumalapit sa box na ASX clone. mukhang enjoy na enjoy sila...

sana may mga video representing ng mga amplifier and equiptment use, puro harap ng sub ang nakikita ko sa video.
