napadaan lang ako dito from pinoydrums. haha.

some of my favorites would be dj krush (all albums. in my mind he's definitely better than dj shadow), bent (everlasting blink), boards of canada (geogaddi), the field (from here we go sublime),  royksopp (melody a.m.), puff dragon (sazanami), big bud (late night blues, producer 07)

I'm really enjoying the Cross album by Justice right now.  It reminds me of Daft Punk, only darker and squelchier.

Definitely.  I believe he assembled the soundtrack to the Doug Liman's film Go (starring a pre-Tom Cruise Katie Holmes).

You can put it in that category.  Medyo may pagka-rock yung ibang mga kanta niya.

Electronica is the umbrella term that encompasses subgenres of the music forms like house, trance, drum n' bass, trip hop, etc.  Rave is the event you attend to listen to electronic music.  It's heydays were in the 90's when abandoned buildings and such were used as makeshift venues for these shows/promotions.

yes it is. techno shares the same 4 to the floor beat but is harder and loopy. there's minimal techno though which has very minimal sounds/patches.

some artists to check out

Richie Hawtin, Chris Liebing, Juan Atkins, Kevin Saunderson.
