It's deffo a fun effector. I'd reccomend it. Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood use KP2s.  grin

Merong KP1 for sale sa pro audio classifieds. Looks like a good deal.

There are also some KP2s floating around, usually 8-10k used. This is the one I'm using.

But if you can, pick up a KP3 at Audiophile for 18k, which is not bad at all. Much more features on this one.

The kaossilator also looks like a bunch of fun

bumili ako sa hong kong ng mini kp mga 7k ata pag kinonvert to pesos (di ako magaling sa convertion  cheesy) but I think may sale kasi dun...pede na rin yun for me, though syempre simpler and less features sa original (and large) kp3.

touch screen parin sya though hindi backlit Smiley)

I dont think I've ever seen (or heard) of any store selling one here in the Phils,
though I've seen some bands who use it (faspitch guitarist, ung guy sa pedicab)

Nagpunta ako sa Megamall nung isang araw at naghahanap din ako nito. Nakakita ako ng 8-13k. Nalimutan ko anong shop e basta sa 5th floor sa Megamall at puro Ibanez ang binebenta nila.

I went through all incarnations of the KP from mk1. Ok sya. If you can get the latest, well and good but the old mk2 or even mk1 can still definitely hold its own.

Audiophile carries the korg brand now and I must say they price it pretty competitive compared to yupangco so getting it locally is ok.

GRAB ONE NOW you won't regret it. That's why I always got whatever came out cuz it;s so damn great!

Ako rin user din ako ng Kaoss Pad... from KP2, mini KP and now KP3. I use them for my DJ sets or on our band...Nyko Maca + pLAYgROUND.  afro

the kaosilator is an entirely different machine from the kaosspad and I'd honestly say, go for the kaoss pad over it. I have both and I love the kaosilator but the KP is more useful in the long run

KO1 is more of an instrument; KP is more of an effect device.  I watch a guy  on YouTube. Plugged a mic into KP3.  NAgbeatbox siya...ayun! Maganda kinalabasan.

isa rin ito sa mga gas attack ko... ive seen the KO1 paired up with the KP3 and daaang it really is great... may nakita ako sa classifieds a few weeks back, nasa 13k yung KP3 and KO1 goes for 7k... both 2nd hand... total tag team!... evil AFAIK, russell of FP uses a KO1 at live... cool
