Title: Maya Guitar Users Thread

Maya was derived from Mount Maya a Mountain near Kobe, Japan. The Plant that used to make Maya Guitars was based in Kobe, Japan. They make copies of Gibson & Fender Guitars during the 70's and 80's. The Plant was destroyed during the 1995 Kobe Earthquake.

MIJ Maya Guitars is no longer in production and only a few Maya Guitars escaped the historic, devastating earthquake.

Maya Japan Restored by Mike Sison
- Bone Nut
- Re-painted
- Set up
- Restored to it's original hardwares
- Replaced TOM Bridge to GOTOH Japan
- All hardwares Japan
- Stock Pickups
- Vintage Knobs

mahirap nga... rare na nga kasi, pero sa ebay.uk may mga ilang naglilitawan... parang ang dami dung Maya Guitars, at minsan may nakausap ako sa FB na taga UK na may Maya LP... madami daw dun sa kanila na Maya MIJ Guitars...

sa left yung Maya... bigay sa akin yan at sa pag kaka alam ko matanda pa sa akin yang guitar na yan maybe late 70s or early 80s...

This is my rare beauty Vintage MIJ Maya strat guitar in sunburst color with some battle scars on it. It feels and play amazingly that puts my other guitars into shame. It sings, growls and sustains incredibly that makes it hard for me to let go of the notes.

Neck Material:  Maple 1P + Flame Maple FB
Pick Ups:  Fender USA TX x 3

Fellow forumite Bryanarz has a Maya strat he revived. Parang daphnie blue yung kulay.
