Not really a Larry Carlton fan. I like his guitar playing, clean and fluid, but can't consider my self a fannatic. I just used his name in my post because... I saw a picture of a nice Valley Arts strat that he used to endorse, :lol:

Frank Gambale was my (video) instructor on scales and modes. Panalo ! I do wish though that he discussed other ways of forming chord progressions to fit the scales...lalo pa naman yung mga guitar simpletons like me, mas gets ko yung "this scale fits the m7 chord, this one fits the Root-5, Major, Major 7th chords etc etc etc. Luckily other books on the topic had it so I just cross-referred :D
