All I have are Apple Earpods for listening. Im trying to tap the in-ear monitors if it will lead me to improvements as to drumming.
My sole purpose is to hear more of the ghost notes in songs and pieces I listen to. Is it even possible for in ear monitors to do that? I really have no idea what they can offer that the apple earpods cant.

Masyado lang Pricey, pero definitely worth it. Design / looks palang panalo na, paano pa yung sound.

kung first time at first gear mo ang earpods then there's a lot more you are missing.
earpods are an improvement already over the old stock iphone/ipod earphones. night and day yung difference. get a KZ ATE first. mura lang naman. differentiate mo sa earpods. which sounds clearer? has more vocals or guitar definition? bass separation? learn to listen critically between them.
tapos get a balanced armature in ear either from shure, ultimate ears, . compare again
last mo na flipears because there's no turning back back nag custom in ear ka na. great comfort (kung maganda yung pagkafit sa yo), great clarity (syempre multidriver balanced armature) and great isolation (perfect for drums!). maseseparate mo yung tunog ng acoustic drums dun sa sinasabayan mo na music kaya mas rinig mo yung mga mali mo.
may ultimate pa, the grand daddy of custom in ears: jhaudio if you won the lotto

Wow meron pala ganyan na based dito sa Pinas. You have any idea how much magagastos kung gusto ko magpa-customize? Lets say yung pinaka-basic lang na kind kumbaga pero customized for my ears.

meet up or visit flipears in las pinas, its much cheaper if they take the impression themselves. 500 lang sa kanila, 750 sa manila hearing aid. at sigurado ka pa na mas ok yung fit

yes kaso its a single dynamic driver and not balanced armature. i tried it and the clarity on the mids and highs are good but lacks bass. kulang lang talaga sa bass.
kung hindi ka pihikan sa tunog, ok na ok na yung single

Not really a bass-head, and guitarista naman ako sir kaya di naman need talaga ng makapal na Bass, mas gusto ko flat sound sig. Maraming salamat sir!!!
