I always listen to the song JUST LIKE HEAVEN, its start when I watched the movie JUST LIKE HEAVEN that is a love story. but before i'am a fun of them, listening to Boys dont cry, love song. hehehe ngayon gusto ko malaman kung anong mga banda na kaparehas nila ng GENRE.? ung mga INFLUENCEs nila..., kahit pilipino BAND., kasi parang walang sumusunod sa yapak ng THE CURE dito sa pilipinas eh. ang alam ko lang na katunog nila ang radiohead. diba ang tawag sa music nila ay new wave? explain naman po sa nakakaalam bakit new wave ang tawag. 21 yrs old lang ako pero gusto ko yung tunog nila, alam ko 80's pa sila eh. salamat po sa mga sasagot, admin thanks. para may tutugtugin ulit ako sa piano at gitara.

waw anong pangalan ng banda nio? at ano pa tugtugin nio? ano klaseng guitar efex kalamitan ginagamit nio? flanger, phaser?

sir salamat dito sa info. ngayon lang nagreply kasi pinakinggan ko pa. pareparehas sila ng bass riff eh., nakakatuwa., tas ung modern english medyo kaboses pa ni Robert Smith.

TS, have you listened to The Cure's dark albums? like Disintegration, Faith and Pornography?
:?hindi pa ngayon papakinggan ko na. :-D alam ko lang yang mga tittle pero di ko pa napapakinggan... nakikita ko sa album pero di ko pa talaga napapakinggan

^eclectic kasi yung music nila. pop sa ibang album, dark naman sa iba. Disintegration is a great dark album of them. :-D

in Cure's case specifically, may album silang sobrang dark (gaya ng Faith at Pornography) may album naman silang pop (gaya ng Head on the Door at yung kiss me, kiss me, kiss me) :)

siguro ilang beses mo na ito pinakikinggan. kasi parang di mo ma aapreciate ang kanta ng the Cure kapag unang pakinig lang., kailangan mong ulit ulitin ano ung DWXB?

Try mo yung Shout Out Louds, kaboses ni robert smith. first album nila mejo garage rock pa yung tugtugan, pero sa mga following albums parang new wave na :cool:
