i got to try my friend's okko diablo gain plus. i love how responsive it is to pick attack. the tone is really sweet, too.

i always seem to go back to the ibanez ts808 though. this pedal is homebase for me. i feel most at-home when playing one. for 808 clones, my faves are the fulltone fd2 mosfet and randymarsh's el grapadura.

other pedals i also like are
- barber ltd v2
- zendrive
- barber direct drive
- freakshow brown rabbit
- general guitar gadgets mbb
- mi audio boost 'n' buff

In order:

1. Barber Direct Drive SS. I prefer it more than the regular DD. By far it's still the best OD pedal I've tried. Hassle lang ang pagtimpla sa trim pots pero once you get the right blend, saktong sakto na. David Barber also has settings for the internal trimpots depending on what sound you are after. Contemplating on getting the DDSS or the new smaller version of the Direct Drive.

2. Barber Half Gainer. Highly tweakable. Mid control is really a big plus for this pedal. Can be transparent or mid-humpish sounding.

3. Lovepedal Eternity E6. Love the gain and compression on this one. For me this was a stand alone OD pedal. The Half Gainer was better for stacking.

there's a new small version of the direct drive?!?! this got me excited so i tried searching online pero wala akong makita. please post the link naman, bro. all i found was the gain changer, which based on the description, sounds more like 3 LTDs (v2, sr, unltd) in 1 pedal. i'm gassing for that one. hehe

Those tim and timmy's are nice. I love the sweet honey overdrive for its being touch sensitive type of OD. Maka dynamics kasi ako.

So far on low gain setting shredhead nga. Andun yung crunch even when you lower down the gain. solid crunchyness na mas mahinang level lang. Kumbaga it's like a full overdrive/distortion with lower volume setting on the guitar. Sobrang perfect on that setting sa guitar ko.
