or you can look at it this way:  its a great learning guitar!  i'd build it and make all my mistakes there. once you complete it believe you me, it will be the best sounding guitar you have ever heard!  because you built it with your own hands.

madali lang i-pore fill yan

Naisip ko na rin yan at sinabi sa sarili ko. pero mas pinili ko nalang magpaka praktikal. :-D

Mga Factors na nakakatamad gawin:

-Alisin yung lumang paint.
-Magliha
-GUMAMIT NG APPROPRIATE Gears for repainting (Mask. pagta'tape, etc. basta marami).

tamad kasi ako e, hehe

I asked some guitar geek/makers anything will do but what they really need is a good and quality of wood for music nor a musical wood.
which most qualities are in to those known like mahogany, rosewood and maple.

pine is good.  in fact the first fender broadcasters were of pine.  rick kelly, the master luthier from NYC builds with it and they sound really good.
if you have pine, build with it!

no idea.  maybe when they moved to a factory to mass produce guitars ash or alder was the local wood.  who knows? :? but i know of many respected luthiers who make guitars out of pine.  tho i don't do electric anymore, if i should own (or make) one it would be of pine.  i like it.  it's light (i come from the school of "weight kills tone") and i love how it looks.  it works easily too.

they do??  how thick and how wide? dapat at least 2 inches thick.   but i bet it won't be quartersawn but its worth a look see.  if i like it i'm going to stash some away

Lumber grade might not be appropriate for musical instruments since it's intended for furniture and fixtures. Then again, you never know. Might be worth looking into.

What Wilcon branch? I hope it's 2 inches thick and that Wilcon provides woodcutting services.

Sir RJ Do you accept custom jobs? haha nagpagawa kasi ako custom neck body nalang kulang.
pa PM naman ng contacts and location thanks :D

Sorry Saxtone ngayon lang ako naka reply sa post mo. .  Well medyo amateur lang ako sa wood working kaya di ako maka accept ng custom jobs :-D :-D. . .  Baka mapahiya lang!. .  I can see na marami tayo expert luthier sa manila where you could try na magpagawa ng custom body ng guitar. . and from Nueva Ecija pa ako. . .

repost ko uli yung guitar. .  Medyo pinalitan ko ng neck (Carver evony fretboard) and sanitize ko ng kaunti yung body. .  medyo radikal kasi. . . di bagay sa akin  :-D. .
