hmmmmmm.....sa akin sa foreign....si dom famularo because he inspired so many drummers during his clinic here...

sa pinoy naman i would say si allan bords ng kamikazee has a breakthroug year and his drumming matured a lot....then another one would be wendell garcia...i 've seen him sessioned for so many bands last 2006, he played for Pido, Wally gonzales, Six cycle mind, and even vina morales...napaka lawak ng paluan ng drummer na ito...

Personally, si Michael Tapper ng We Are Scientists.

Kahit power pop ang tugtog nila, napaka-unorthodox ng beats niya at walang umuulit na style sa album nila (With Love and Squalor). Ang ganda rin nung linear grooves niya sa dalawang kanta nila (Can't Lose at saka Textbook). Simple pero ang sarap pakinggan.

At saka si Matt Tong ng Bloc Party pala. Kaka-download ko lang ng leaked album nilang bago (A Weekend in the City) at medyo lumayo na siya sa hyperactive drumming niya (naging dahilan ng pag-collapse ng baga niya last November). Sa kanya ang style na gusto ko i-emulate.

HHMMMMMM......eto medyo love your own ako hahaha....drummer of the year sa akin for 2006....

i would say Antony Dio....his presence and leadership here in our drumming community is a big help.....its not only about his drumming but its how he inspires people about drumming....plus 2006 was his first drum clinic during the pinoydrums eb3 that was held in penguin bar and 2006 was the year he became the mod here sa pinoydrums haha....kudos antony....

second...i would say its Bea Lao from the Pearl/Sabian Department and from the band Dilaw...hehehe...she gave a new meaning when it comes to the term "Chic Drummer"....
remember our drum battle during the x-mas eb? i know she shocked many of you guys hahaha...

Thanks for the kind words, JP! I sincerely appreciate it. Though deep inside, I feel that there would be better things to come for me, my band, and my musical career in general.
