As a comparison, Neil Peart's Commemorative R30 (Rush 30th Anniversary) DW drumkit is worth US$30K (price according to Modern Drummer's January 2007 issue).  And with the fact that only 30 kits are available and this is a bigtime Peart/Rush memorabilia, value will surely appreciate as years would pass.
