How about ung mga YAMAHA DD series, like this one:
YAMAHA DD55
Dati kc me nagbebenta nito sa ebay.ph ng 8 thou lng.
Ngaun meron nagbebenta pero 12 thou gusto.
Pang record lng ata ito e and pang jamming. Sa gig I dont think na this will be appropriate.

that particular model isn't touch sensitive...I'll be the first one to discourage you. Its a chops downer.
How about my drumkit?!!
Quote from: Teedee20How about my drumkit?!!
I worked hard for it, di ako nag-absent! Actually, I was really planning to buy an acoustic set, pero di talaga yun uubra kung nakatira ka sa flats or buildings dito sa HK.
How about my drumkit?!!
I've tried using Roland electric drums before..ok naman..its true dat volume control is a big aspect but I would have to take the side of acoustic as well. I dont like the response of the electric ones.. :Di haven't tried an electric drum. i'm sure iba talaga feel ng acoustic. pero hirap controlin ng stage volume namin sa Church. pag naglakas na drummer lumalakas pati instrument amps. minsan natatabunan vocals (feedback kapag lalakasan pa) at naiingayan attendies.. d ba ito ang solution?
depende yan.
kung may pera ka, go for it.
i think, besides volume control, marami pang maiooffer ang electronic kits.
maraming sound effects and other settings na pwede mong mapatunog yung electronic kit.
ps
Dito sa HK, my Chinese friend told me that their church bought a Roland TD20 Vdrums. But the kit is really expensive kaya yung mga mayayaman na churches lang ang nakakaafford nun. You can also check Roland US website. Meron silang "Worship connection site." Very interesting coz I never knew that Roland music are sponsoring Christian music.. nagulat nga ako nung napanood ko yung mga videos.
You can talk to your head pastor or kung sino man ang in-charge.. Ask them to soundproof your church.. Maraming kurtina, ipacarpet nyo, Paligiran nyo ng fiberglass yung drums or yung sinasabi mo na drumshield-acrylic.. etc.. Magastos talaga! Maghihina ka rin sa pagpalo..
:D
I use an Alesis DM5 drum module tapos gumawa ako ng triggers using piezo parts na nabili ko sa radioshack dati.
I trigger only my toms and bass drum kse ayoko mawala yun natural na tunog ng snare ko. I use it only in certain songs where it is needed kase dun sa dating band ko we used to play techno. Pero nagagamit ko rin sya pag sablay talaga yun drumset up sa mga out of town gigs where outdoor ang set-up pero wala man lang mic ang drums.
Tune your drums loose para mawala yun resonance kse yun piezo trigger picks up the vibrations produced by the drums.
Magaadjust ka nga lang ng technique mo when using this set-up kse iba yun feel ng drums.
You can also use drum pads to augment your drum set-up.

nways depende yan sau sir if u want to get acoustic drums i think meron ka mabibili na drum mufflers or silencers

Thank you for your inputs.
Im just checking out the possibilities. No brand in particular yet, there are a number of manufacturers/ brands that answers the need.
ok, well, how about something like the roland SPD-20? I saw saw this being used by Roger taylor during the "wild boys" song in the Duran Duarn concert....(i'm obviously from the 80's)
Bolshoi,
by using the handle Bolshoi, i believe you come from the same era as well.
very seldom would I hear from somone WESTON....that for sure is a dead-givaway of what year you started....MX-900 right? That's where i first learned to mix, the first DJ mixer with split monitoring....now, if you say you used a TAMON...honestly, I'd have to call you "kuya" coz' i've used it around that time but it was a hand-me-down. We were BURNSCODE...
Thank you for patronizing our store, I hope our staff will continue to serve you well. the bassist, that would be richard.
the MAPEX drums are just arriving, hope you get to see those too. I plan to put 3 different series on the floor for everyone's scrutiny.
Cheers!!

Hi Din,
with the Boom Theory, so when you hit the cymbals, it still produces actual cymbal sound? so it still gets noisy? and are they velocety sensitive too, which I expect the drums are.
well, lets say a basic 4 piece kit (Kick pad w/ pedal + 2 Tom pads + snare pad + H-H pad w/ pedal + 2 cymbal pads + the sound module) all in a rack going for around P35,000
and
a higher model 5 piece kit with a more superior model set of pads (Kick pad w/ pedal + 3 Tom pads + snare pad + H-H pad w/ pedal + 2 cymbal pads + the sound module) all in a rack going for around P49,000
are these expensive in todays standards?
kung di malayo feel sa acoustic cool na cool to para sa akin. speaking from a church musician point of view. basta me rim shot, pwede ghost notes, napipigilan yung cymbals, pwede mag bell/crash sa ride ok na. very interested. hehe.
What music is best used with drum triggers? I understand the metalheads like them, but what other music would be nice for acoustic drum triggers and a module like the DM5?
is your dd55 for sale bro? meron ba xa built in drum machine so we can use it readily?
yeah the shipping is deadly!
timpanista, how much is the yamaha dtxplorer there in hk?
ano kayang brand yung hinandle nila?
alesis kaya?
who's been to jb music lately? may nakita niyo ba yung electric drums doon?
ok ba siya?
cheapest electric drums na nakita ko. ---though certainly not much of an eye candy
I wanna try playing the drums kasi pero I can't have an acoustic set cause I've got angry neighbors.
pwede naba? or what can you recommend na electronic drums for beginners
Well for the price pwede sa mga beginners or people in condo. Comment ko lang is the Kick Pedal. DIY ka nalang.
Here are the pics nung Ekit

Nice on bro. One man band.hehe
Anong software gamit mo?
Thank you bro, software for recording? Im using hardware bro, R16. Di ako masyado into DAW, dati puro pro tools kaso nung nabasa ko

Zero interest for one year.

Guys may tanong ako. I'm thinking about getting a roland electronic kit. Kaso heavy hitter ako. Ang tanong eh kaya ba ma withstand nung electronic kit kung medyo malakas ako pumalo?
okie lng ba armor all sa drum shells?
lacquered finish no, wrapped yes
kung lacquered, mag pledge ka na lang
Sa rubber pads bro?
chiming in,
sa rubber pads gamit ko wipeout since water-based naman siya. i just make sure na pinupunasan ko agad at walang natitirang residue.
Anong gamit mong e.drums bro?
Any reviews?
Any car interior detailing product will do. I use Meguiar's Interior detailer.
I was able to try this last Thursday. Sounds like the real thing even if not plugged. When turned on and mixed with the edrums, it sounds and feels amazing. Not great for silent practice.
armor all pre
dude basa pa yung armor all kaya may kumakapit sa sticks mo. punasan mo pa ulit ng pranela yung pads hanggang sa mawala yung wet look

Saan ka nakabili ng Meguiar's bro? Ace?
Salamat sa info bro. Gas kasi ako ngayon sa Gen16
Sa Ace o True Value. Matt finish yan at no grease. You won't have problems having black marks on the mesh pads. Medyo mahal lang. Around 600+

Mga boss share ko lang ang ginawa kong video using roland td4k, pearl demon drive and frozen ape tempo app for itouch... ala akong inedit sa audio.. plug 'n play lang using video capture software from my laptop.. madami kcng drummer takot gumamit ng electronic drumset kc iba daw ang feel.. depende naman yan sa preferences ng isang drummer.. but roland e drums are one of the best in the market... in terms of feel? d ko pa din masabi eh depende tlga yan sa musikero.. please watch the video.. wala sana trash talk.. i just wanted to share..

Magkano inabot bro?
4800 sa ebay kasama yung rotation stopper
1800 sa shipping ng johnny air
900 sa gibraltar clamp
extra boom arm galing sa acoustic kit
not worth it yung cost ng vh11 sa td4 e. di kasi supported ng module yung extra features.I was there last month. Almost bought a TD15 with VH11. Kaya sa luggage yung rack. Kalasin lang lahat. Should have bought an extra luggage there. I stayed at Hotel Benito which is right beside the Main Showroom :)
thinking of buying a td15, sale dito sa tom lee hk ngayon at 65k lang aabutin. di ko pa lang alam kung pano ko dadalin pag uwi ko dyan
magkano TD-4K?
not ouch but great. same price ng td4 ang td11 with better sounds
Magkano cost ng shipping and taxes?
Hi guys,
I'm really a guitarist but I'm also a jam drummer. I am currently using a Yamaha DTXplorer and I was wondering if anyone was selling upgrades for this? If not here, where's is the best place to order? Website at least. :)
More power to Pinoydrums!
ringway e-drums, any one used it before? planning to buy it as gift for my son, main consideration is budget, second is noise. thanks for your views.
Hi All,
Yamaha DTXPL- any users there? Yamaha discontinued production already, planning to buy it from craigslist.com at USD 400 plus shipping, cant find a review from the web.
Thanks a lot for your inputs....
For me sir go for Roland.
Almost 200 dollars
$999 price nya sa online stores so roughly aroung 41k pesos. 13k din ang patong ng yupangco.
magkano kaya aabutin pag pina-johnny air ito hehe.
Mga sir, I have an acoustic kit but currently exploring e-kit possibilities, I just want to inquire on who carries medeli and alesis here in the Phils? Among the three, including Roland, which has the most value for money assuming comparable models? Thanks

PLEASE AVOID THE HD SERIES. go td if your budget permits it. may malaking issue ako sa pedals nya dahil yung contact points nun nagrerely yun sa lithium grease. there is metal contact point at the base of the pedal and there's a rubber stopper on the footboard. in between, there is a layer of lithium grease to minimize friction but more importantly, the grease allows the trigger to work. no lithium grease, no trigger, no sound.
kapag natuyo yung lithium grease (which will happen in 1 year) or dumumi ng husto yung pedal tapos pinusan mo yung loob ng pedals (wag na wag mo gagawin), yari ka na kasi yung akala mo na dumi e yun yung lithium grease. the pedals wont work without lithium grease
ang hirap humanap ng tamang lithium grease. RC hobby shops sell lithium grease but it is the wrong kind. kapag mali nailagay mo multiple hits palagi yung kick at hihat, false trigger lang sya palagi making the pedals also unusable. the only solution is create a kick pedal trigger and use a regular pedal then buy the roland fd-8 for the hihat controller.
this is from experience.

Hello guys. :)
Anong amp okay gamitin for e-drums?

okie na po ba ang medeli dd305 for church playing?any suggestion electronic drum on a budget.
dd506 gamit ko dati ok naman. Pero kung pangmatagalan(plus magandang tunog) go for Roland.
good feeling/sounding drums for 15k? impossible pre unless may nagbebenta ng roland ng palugi
increase your budget or just buy a decent acoustic kit. even going DIY edrums route will cost you as much as a new acoustic drum kit
pwede naman but its not recommended...keyboard amp or full range speaker ang mas advisable

Hi Electrodrummeristas,
How much is the going rate for a second hand ROLAND TD4 these days?
This was released around 2009? right? Thanks in Advance!
Nasa 30k+ yan.
nag double pa rin ang kick, any other suggestions...Ano ba gamit mo bro?
not sure if the triggering mechanism is the same as roland fd pedals. post ka muna ng pics nung internal ng pedal
then again it could just be the sensitivity setting sa dd45 mismo
Ano ba gamit mo bro?

actually nakita ko na po yung sa sulit ads, but as much as possible sa local store sana para pwede credit card hehe.
Makatingin nga sa Raon during weekends baka mayron

Hi! Newbie here. Ask ko lang kung ano po magandang amp for vdrums other than roland? Any one here who tried peavey kb2 or kb3. Appreciate your feedback. Thanks!Bitin ang kb2 or kb3 bro.
Bitin ang kb2 or kb3 bro.
+1
Ok talaga powered speakers loaded w/ 15s
Hindi ba parang delayed yung palo (something to that effect). Thanks!
consider the distance pre
kapag sumaksak ka sa kb4 (or any personal amp) at nasa harap mo yung speaker, walang delay yun
Thanks Peeves24. I am really keen on buying this weekend.
When you say b3, do you mean peavey kb3? I'm choosing between peavey kb3 and kb4 at medyo favor ako sa kb3 dahil sa price difference (~6k). Kaya kung okay naman i would go to kb3. Appreaciate your feedback. Thanks!

Ano pong model na beta3 ang gamit mo? Saan po nakakabili and what is the price range? Thanks!
any full range speaker will do. active speakers and keyboard amps are full range. pero syempre some brands sound better than others...
some active speakers have line level unbalanced inputs (RCA or TS plug) pwede mo na direct ikabit dun yung drum module mo. ngayon kung XLR lang yung active speaker, you need a DI (or a pair of DIs for stereo) to convert the unbalanced signal na galing sa drum module mo into balanced XLR signal. yung behri b115D pwedeng unbalanced TS cable gamitin dun, no need for DI or mixer.
the price for 2 DIs is the same as a small cheap mixer so get the mixer instead para may headphones ka pa at pwedeng magsasaksak ng ibang player sa mixer
Thanks a lot peeves your reply is highly appreciated. By the way when connecting to active speaker, will i use the headphone out or the mono?
nasa dubai ako ngayon ako sir peeves, eh parang mas mahal sa amazon or ebay if papaship ko pa dito.
Hello mga sir! Bago lang ako po ako magpost dito... I play guitars but I plan to be a seasonal drummer din :)
Thank you!
di mo pa yata nabanggit kung ano yung kit mo. ano ba sya?
as much as possible always use stereo outs ng drum module para ikabit sa isang pares ng active speakers. kung isa lang active speaker mo, dun sa L(mono) mo ikabit. wag mo gamitin yung headphone out para ibang connection bukod sa headphone. you can use both headphone out and stereo out at the same time. unlike sa guitar amp na kapag nagsaksak ka ng headphone, mamatay yung tunog ng outputs/speaker.
I am a fan of electronic drums although I only have an entry level Roland TD3. It does the trick for silent late night practice and quick gig setup. Finally got the Zildjian Gen16 Acoustic Electric Cymbals. Made a lot of difference in playing a edrums. Sarap!

Puwede mag-choke. Although hindi siya trigger. May condenser mic yung pickups niya. The sound is processed sa module.

Hi everyone.
I'm looking to buy my first edrum kit but I don't really know exactly what specs to look for.
My main purpose of getting edrums is because I currently live in a place where I can't afford to make a lot of noise. My acoustic drum kit is actually still at my parents' place and only gets played on weekends.
Additionally, I'd like to have the option of possibly using the edrum kit for recording. With my current band, we've always recorded with acoustic drums because we play all rock music. However, I have friends involved in more experimental, hip hop, and EDM music and would like to explore collaborations with them, and edrums would be more versatile for these genres.
Ideally, I'd like to buy a starter-sized kit (1 kick, 1 hi hat, 1 crash, 1 ride, 3 toms) but with the option of expanding the kit eventually. I have extra crash and splash cymbals with my acoustic kit, and would like to replicate this with an edrum kit.
For my budget range (25-35k), a friend of mine recommended the Medeli DD506. (link: http://www.majormusiccenter.com/Vurmalilar/digitalbateri/medeli/Products.aspx_files/DD506all.jpg)
I just have a few questions:
1. Does this model have the option of adding pads/cymbals individually without having to buy a whole new kit. (i.e. is it expandable?)
2. Can the audio output of this kit be separated into individual tracks for each pad (suitable for recording) or does it only have the option of ouputting just one track? (If it can't output many individual tracks, are there any recommended edrum kits for that purpose?)
3. Does it have the options of rim shot, cross-stick rim click, and ride bell sounds?
4. Can anyone recommend any other edrum models to suit my needs and fit my budget? Willing to spend 25-35k, and possibly willing to stretch to 40k if edrum kit is worth it.
Hoping for your opinions on this. Thanks!
3. The DD506 has a dualzone snare. meaning yes, it can translate rimshots and crosssticking depending on the kit voices you are using. The Cymbals are also dualzone pads so you can program them to reflect ride bell sounds or ride crash sounds or ride bow sounds. Cymbals also are "choke-able"
For the Medeli DD506, does it come with the option of making the ride bell sound by hitting the bell of the cymbal or do I have to program the ride to make that sound? I was hoping to be able to switch between the normal and bell sounds of the ride.
Thanks for the help, Ralph. For the ride cymbal, I've heard of edrum kits with which the sound that comes out corresponds directly with how you hit it. (i.e. hitting the top of the cymbal with the stick head or hitting the edge of the cymbal with the side of the stick)
For the Medeli DD506, does it come with the option of making the ride bell sound by hitting the bell of the cymbal or do I have to program the ride to make that sound? I was hoping to be able to switch between the normal and bell sounds of the ride.
4. You can get a "cheap" edrum kit and just use it as a trigger via midi and use software synths like ezdrummer. But you'll be limited by the quality of the pads in terms of how it captures hits, etc.
Hope this helps
Thanks for the input. When triggering via midi and ezdrummer, does that mean that the triggers translate to the programmed sounds of the recording software in real time or do I have to input the midi file into the recording software and then edit the triggered sounds?
ang naaalala ko sa dd506 and definitely on my td4, hard hits will translate to bell sounds while soft hits are used for bow sounds. your ride cymbal doesnt have to be multizone, mas important pa nga yung choke kesa sa separate bell and bow sound.
dual zone cymbals have bow and choke only
triple zone rides have a separate bell piezo together with the bow and choke
yes pwede yun. kaso you will need to sacrifice your other pads. triple zone needs three outputs from the module
Good afternoon mga sir!
So we were watching UDD live and naisipan ng drummer namin na gumamit ng beat pad/drum pad, because of sir Ean.
Pero nung tumingin kami, this one in particular costs more than 30k. Or should we go with this agad? Bago lang kami dito sa mga digital pads pero we want to use these as a part of our main sound. May suggestions po ba kayo kung ano pwede namin bilihin that won't hurt our pockets much? :-D
You can build DIY Triggers for the moment, then trigger sounds via a laptop. pero mas hassle yun. Try looking at secondhand ROLAND SPD8's. pero those are still a little pricey. Mahirap magtipid sa ganito brother. you'll end up buying the Rolands in the long run anyway. might as well save up and get a good one na. kung experiment experiment, try niyo muna mag DIY Triggers.Yun nga sir ralph e. Baka etong model na mismo. Pero thanks! Try namin yung DIY Triggers.
Try mo yung Medeli DD305 or Yamaha DD55/DD65. portable drum kit. kumpleto na, easy to transport. I used that back in college nung nagaaral pa ko magdrums. definitely helped a lot.
I normally record songs live directly to the Zoom R16. Kaya lang I feel the bass drum of the Roland TD11K lacks the low end thump/thud that I like. Given that the TD11K's audio output is stereo L & R, what's the best compromise to go about it? EQ it out? Or do i have to really use a DAW na to get the specific midi notes and EQ the bass drum directly? I prefer sana to do it all via R16(digital recorder). What do you guys do in live recordings using your eDrum's audio instead of midi?

...Other than that, I would say you definitely need to run them in a VSTi. Drum Module Sounds do not even come ciose to the sounds you get from the VSTi's like EZDrummer and Superior Drummer. :)
Okaaaaay. Hehe. I think I really have to use VSTi's na nga. How's the latency? Is it usable in live applications? Naaalala ko 512 setting ko that time.

Thanks for the tip. If latency still gets the better of me, what i could probably do is have the drummer monitor his playing via the in-board sounds of the drum module while simultaneously recording through DAW via USB. Then just run the drum recording via VSTi and sync it with the other recorded instruments. (Ang gulo ng sinabi ko. Hehe)

Brother, so far wala naman akong naeencounter na Latency issue while monitoring realtime :O check mo muna sa setting baka di lang optimally configured :)Ichecheck ko nga ulit sa akin kapag nagkaroon ako ng project.

Nakow paktay na. Core2Duo lang ito. High-end naman PC ko... 8 years ago. Hehehe. Pero for what its worth, I'll try it out. Thanks for all the tips!

Hi sirs, happy to find this forum and been backreading the rest of the morning. Active speaker or keyboard amp. Will be using only for house. Ano po pweding i-suggest niyo sa mga ito, naguguluhan ako kasi ang cost nila is within my budget. Ang hanap ko kasi ay iung plug and play kasi di na man ako technically inclined. Mapalabas lang maayos ang sound, walang delay, volume is good and maikabit sa PC. Newbie po and using headphone only on a TD92 Ringway. Thanks sirs :)Go for Behringer B115d bro!
ROLAND PM-10
Peavey KB3
Berhinger KB4500, 9000
Behringer B112D
Go for Behringer B115d bro!
Leaning towards keyboard amp until i read about active speakers. I'll check this on a weekend.
Mga Sir query lang po,
I have a (shy) cheap RIngway TD82 e.drums.
Now nung try ko using the usb connection, then using EZ drummer vst, iba po ang response ng palo.
I mean example po pag itinuro mo yung mouse sa snare then click it, ibang iba po sa sound na kapag pinalo po yung snare trigger ko. Parang muted yung sound, walang "sarap" factor.
Kaya still Im using the default sounds nung module.
Any suggestions?
bro, try changing the Pad Sensitivity and Trigger Curve nung module mo para mas maging responsive. (kung kaya ni Ringway). nung una din kasi naging problem ko siya sa medeli, iba yung tunog sa VST compared pag hinataw ko yung drums. apparently it was just a sensitivity/velocity setting. try mo isagad muna then hanapin mo yung sweet sopt sa sensitivity nung triggers. hope this helps.
BTW, mas okay si superior drummer hahahaha!
Thanks sa suggestion Sir Ralph,
Yes I think there is a pad sensitivity & curve sa Ringway...na-set ko sya but for itself...I'll try to set it for Ez drummer naman.
Ok Sir will try Superior Drummer....I'll contact Sir T for a copy hehe
hm.. 20k-25k
Second hand ROLANDS or Bnew MEDELIs. though kung may makikita kang 2nd hand na Roland, go for this na. Mejo hindi ko kasi masyadong mapagkatiwalaan yung Ringway so I won't encourage this.
two cent.
anong gamit mo sir and how much yun?
I'm not sure if this question is already asked in any way.. But I have a Roland TD4kp which I want to try to do a record on my laptop. I don't know what to do because of these factors:
1. I have 0(zero) knowledge in recording music :'(
2. I don't know which things to buy, like cables for example(I don't know how does interface works, even its meaning is mysterious to me:eek:)
3. Software to use and editing
I know its a lot to ask :'( but a few idea will surely get me a good head start. Thanks in advance! O0
Hardware:
PC running core2quad with M-Audio Delta 1010lt sound card
Using a MIDI cable we connect the td-4 drum module to the MIDI-in of the delta 1010lt soundcard.
@alvinalvinalvin My laptop is running in intel core i3 at 1.33ghz and my sound or audio runs in realtek hd audio manager with dolby. I'm not pretty sure if this will do the trick for a simple recording. But your tips are much appreciated!
@ralph yes sir, your memory serves you right it has midi-out, so midi2usb cable is what i need. Nasa dubai kasi ako sir, di ko sure kung magkano ang cable na midi2usb but anyway titignan ko kung kakayanin, I'm going back in may anyway so kung mejo mahal dito baka jan na nga lang sa pinas.
yes the sounds are digital although natutune naman sya.
Thanks you a lot guys, at least I have a few idea now what to research and I'm starting to figure out now all your terminologies. hehehe! cheers!!
saw a 2nd hand roland in Classified area. Roland V-drums HD1.. ano po ba pros and cons nito? better ba to get this or save more for a bit higher level?

i tried lots of kits today namely roland ones. The td11, td 11kv, td 30kv, yamaha 700 dtx with the silicone pads and zildjian gen 16 cymbals and hi hats.
I was mainly focused on the the td 11 and the td 11kv and yes really love the mesh pads on all the 11kvs. The sound modules sound great but the brush strokes dont register on the td 11s. I tried the 30 kv and that module was really nice and brush strokes work on that module Obviously due to price point.
So here is the plan. Get the td 11kv and get a Gen16 hi hat and slowly upgrade the cymbals in the future. Get a cheap snare drum too so when practicing at night break out the original set then day time insert the acoustic snare for brushes (mainly interested on snare brush techniques lately)
By the way is the the Gen 16 compatible with the roland tds?
Drum GAS is awesome, i dont have any tinge of guilt....buying for my boys so we can all jam at home :)

on the td 11kv
Compatible sya...thank you.
Sa Causeway Bay Times Square in HK, Parsons Music. Mostly Rolands. Sa Tom Lee TST you can try the flagship Yamaha and the Td30 kv side by side.
Yup all floor models even the high end td30kv was not spared by my son. He bashed away with reckless abandon while I to bashed as hard as I can to see how loud the unit was acoustically. When I inquired if I bought the td11kv they said they have a new one on hand while Tom lee said 1 month wait for a TD 11.

Nakapasak sya sa yamaha ddrums and went back and forth sa roland cymbals at hi hats. Really nice those Gen 16s.
Really working out the budget hard to incorporate the gen 16 hi hat into our first kit.
Ahh,hehe, swerte naman anak niyo, hehe.good for you
My thoughts exactly. hahahahaha!
life is short mga pre basta abangan na lang ang masterplan this year for my boys. Pati ako excited na rin. Hopefully mid-April.
I might get a job in hk pag palarin,so Papalo sa kit mo pag natuloy ako, hehe
Pls tell me if aampunin mo na kami bro. aasikasuhin ko lang NSO ko =)) HAHAHAHAHA
keep us posted man! :D
Hi folks!Peavey KB115 bro. loved that amp. and it was really loud. =))
Just bought a ROLAND V-drum kit and I'm looking for an alternative to the 30W Roland V-drums amp as it is a little expensive.
Some say to get a 2nd hand keyboard amp as it can also double as a vocal amp, plus it can have more power than the 30W roland at half the price.
Any suggestions? Thanks!
1 pair of 15' powered speakers bro. Stereo = win!Pwede rin to! Samson AURO pwede na!
Marshall half stock amps! Hehe, joking aside
My students prefer bass amps.got more oomph power.

Thanks!
Wow!
My band mate uses a Yamaha DD-65 for our semi-acoustic band.
AFAIK, keyboard amplifier talaga dapat ang gamitin, just wondering if acoustic-guitar amp will do and what are CONS if it does.
or best, Active Monitors. :D
Hi Guys,
i'm considering selling one of my jazz bass to get a brand new kit. my budget is around 30k lang and I just checked TMS, 36k pala ung medeli dd506 ung DMlite naman walang bass drum kick pad.
Advise lang sana regarding this problem I have hehe
facts:
1. I am no drummer at all. have been a bassist (mediocre) for the longest time pero I have zero skills sa pag drums but I really want to learn.
2. Newly wed (soon to be dad) and barely have time to go out with friends to jam in studios like I used to kaya gusto ko ng bedroom equipment.
needs/wants:
1. gusto/kailangan ko ng edrums so I could learn silently without disturbing others.
2. balak ko lang mag play along, no recording muna or advanced stuff, just play drums that's it.
3. I think iba talaga ang feel ng acoustic set but I cannot afford the space and noise for now so edrums talaga ang choice. do you guys have any recommendations given my budget?
4. I do not know how to test. at all. kung pupunta man ako sa store hindi ko alam kung ano kailangan ko silipin para masabi na ok ang isang edrums. do you have like a set of criteria you look for edrums?
5. Is it a bad idea that I start in edrums rather than acoustic sets?
6. Is there any other equipment I need to purchase if balak ko lang naman is play along and learning basic drum patterns for the time being?
thanks in advance. :)
on the contrary, lahat halos ng kilala ko na nag edrums e mas lumalakas ang palo sa edrum kesa acoustic hehehe. me too.
td4 will not break kahit abusuhin mo. tried and tested.

Quite true, you need to give it a good consistent whack just to get a consistent bell sound on the cymbals. Soft cross stick is also a hit and miss.
Putik, may nagbebenta ng murang used Roland TD-4KP dito....huhuhu...parang gusto ko iskorin...kaso parang mas gusto ko yung compactness ng HD-3 kahit low tech..pang bata at di masyadong komplikado..
watcha think guys?

Real bass drum feel would be a good selling point, napansin ko students ko galing ekit
as for the drum module..for sure mas ok padin yung sa td4.....baka palipasin ko nalang to...it would be totally cool though..anyway I better sleep on it muna...medyo na GAS ako kanina ng sobra..haha
thanks guys for the input...basa basa muna ako ng info and specs
Or kung naka try na kayo ng mas maganda sa ROland also open to better and bang for the buck suggestions around that budget.
In addition, meron din kasi akong double peds di ko magamit gamit. Hopefully magamit ko with the new vdrums na bibilhin. Any thoughts? http://pearldrum.com/products/hardware/drum-pedals/powershifter-eliminator I bought the double peds but not really into metal drumming now, more in pinangsisingit singit ko lang yung double peds pag nag s sticking at practice.

replace the hd3
yung mga gusto magdagdag or uprgade ng triggers diyan may binebenta ako roland PD8, PD100, CY12cr and KD7 :) PM me if interested nawala ad ko dito sa pm :)
I noticed ang bilis mapudpud yung rubber hi hats tsaka cymbals Kung saan tumatama. I play but not that often play as much as I want. Am I using the wrong sticks, too robust or am I hitting it too hard or it's just normal.
Looking at the hi hat pads by the rate of it parang half year na lang sya and it would look like gibbious moon.
Drumheads are fine. It's the hi hat rubber pads getting worn down.
Playing time I'd be lucky to have 45 minutes everyday.
More like 5 songs max.
Good day ka philmusic. Im planning to buy this kit Roland td-1k and this is the first time na gagamit ako ng electronic drums. ofw kasi ako at ngrrent ng maliit na apartment. I need your suggestions About this kit. TIA (http://i1379.photobucket.com/albums/ah142/vumandap/Mobile%20Uploads/2014-0901-roland-tdk1-800_zpsamb4u2bm.jpg) (http://s1379.photobucket.com/user/vumandap/media/Mobile%20Uploads/2014-0901-roland-tdk1-800_zpsamb4u2bm.jpg.html)
Hi folks,
Im planning to buy my first ekit. Because of that dang ez drummer. Need your thoughts.
As for first timer, im considering an Alesis DM6 or DM7 that I saw online. And I noticed oks naman sya with Ezdrummer, anyone here na naka gamit ng exact model?
Sa apartment lang sir, but I usually record stuff at night. Hopefully he will reply. Nakagamiy na ko ng roland, i forgot what model, pero yun talaga napaka tahimik ng mesh. But feels real.

Id rather get this model...
Kamusta Pinoydrums. It's been a while since my last post. Hehe.

Please help, anybody knows LA DRUMS? I have a chance of buying one, does somebody had experience trying this one?
Did some scouting and found sa medelli dm7 for 25k and a roland td4 for 35k.
Alin ang mas sulit? Parehong brand new condition.
How much puba yun td30?
sir ask lang po which is better for drum speaker, a keyboard amp or an active speaker?
nasa 15k lang kasi or lower ang budget ko, I'm not sure which brand din to use and the wattage.
I'm not getting big help from those sales clerk sa music stores eh. thanks!!
Sir sobrang gnda kasi offer ng yamaha from 195k naging 137k nlng may amp nadin ako Na kc 350 kasama na td15kv... good. Buy napo Yun?

Tried almost all models of Roland and Yamaha in this store. TD30 is definitely the best but I am happy with TD11 and TD15.
Best place to buy is either at Tom Lee HK or Ishibashi in Japan.

Good day po mga Sir,..ano po masasabi nyo sa bagong Roland Vdrums na Roland TD25KV/K? kakabili ko lng kc last year ng td15kv...prang sayang lng kabibili ko lng tapos discontinued na agad...mas worthy ba ibenta yung td15 module then ipalit ng td25? :?

God bless!
bitin ka pareho dyan sa power and to be honest, pangit tunog nila pareho - compared against keyboard amps and powered speakers.
bili ka na lang ng powered speakers kung gusto mo gamitin sa jam, check mo samson auro 12 for best for the buck. pwede yung 10" auro kung medyo maliit habol mo pero konti lang price difference nya sa 12".
Pano po pla eto sir peeves24 gus2 ko po sana maging stereo ung drum sound using 2 samson auro 12, kelangan ko pa po ba ng mixer khit ung ganito lng (Alto ZMX862 6 Channel Compact Mixer) http://www.jbmusic.com.ph/product/details/alto-zmx862-6-channel-compact-mixer (http://www.jbmusic.com.ph/product/details/alto-zmx862-6-channel-compact-mixer) or pwd ko na syang idirect from line out L/R sa module to line in L/R ng samson auro 12?
pwede pero mas maganda pag nakamixer mas madaling macontrol.
Been kicking myself ever since I sold my TD20 several years ago, but glad I recently got a hold of another one. Still keeping an eye for a TD30 kit.
grabe intense daming pads! so, dalawa yung drum module mo paps?

nice kit tho, swabe tingnan!

td30 is only slightly better than td20
you know what will make your td20 great? replace the vh11 hihats with a yamaha hihat :-D

Hello.
what amp or speaker is best for the electronic drums? tito ko may roldand kit, pero di ko alam yung model pero yun yung tanong niya sa akin. any suggestions will do. thanks
get an active speaker, or any flat eq amplifier.
for example, sa active speaker, okay si SAMSON Auro. meron namang Peavey KB Series for Keyboard Amps. both will work :)
Yung tunog?
Pwede ba gamitin yung vst as source ng tunog nung edrums?
armor all
http://www.amazon.com/ddrum-AcousticPro-Dual-Snare-Trigger/dp/B0002E2YBW (http://www.amazon.com/ddrum-AcousticPro-Dual-Snare-Trigger/dp/B0002E2YBW)
Good day po!! Pero this time, triple zone cymbal pads idadagdag ko. :)
Hi!
Anyone know where I can find digital multipads?
like the alesis sample pads, kat's ktmp1, roland's spdxxx. :)
Thanks!
hi guys, may I just ask where can I buy this MIDI-USB cable for electric drums-laptop connection?
how much din pala and range if ever?
thanks
JB has them. Alesis or M-Audio. Around 1.5-2k each
works for Roland ones too?? thanks man!!
yup, MIDI is universal naman. as long as your module has a MIDI in/MIDI out (or both) port and your computer has a USB port, it should work :)
thanks man, gonna try and expand the sound of my roland td4kp using superior drummer. thanks for your help :-D
hi guys, just wanna ask if what software would you recommend for enhancing the sound of my td4kp kit? san din po nakakabili or dinodownload lang ba sya?? I don't want it to be too techy and sana simple lang.. thanks

pero pang practice, yes go ahead.
Aray. I was expecting at least 8 levels of sensitivity
what i meant for expression is that the module needs to use a different sound depending on the velocity and power of the stroke. wala yung velocity component sa entry level modules.
yung midi 127 kasi is just for midi note and amplitude. nandun yun even for ringway. irerelate mo sa range and each range will have a different sound (not exact ha, sample lang)
0-50 soft - trigger sound A
51 to 100 mid - trigger sound B
101 to 127 hard - trigger sound C
Good luck sir
Thanks ralph and sonic.
Meron naman ako acoustic drum kit he can use, yung e-drums para lang makapagpractice siya sa bahay nila kahit gabi. :-D

Vic Firth Drum Mutes nalang paps! or replace with mesh heads!
ty sir.. ano ba size nung first tom sa dm8?
yeah that'll work. you can use any trigger pad you want basically, even a DIY one, basta tama yung connector sa module.
yep tama to, ganun ginawa ko sa kit ko, nilagyan ko ng piezo ung snare drum ko at ginawa kong mesh heads, ayun poging snare for my alesis dm10x hehe
uyyy nice! I like that idea
Hi guys, can't find the Roland thread kaya dito na lang ako magtatanong.
hindi po under warranty ung unit ko. and i have no idea if yupangco is accepting repairs.
Salamat!
Behringer is at it again! Matibay kaya to?

looked at youtube. i think you should decide na lang, hehe id prefer acoustic drums talaga.
lam mo naman paps, taga condo :(
uy mukang maganda, I hope it integrates better with addictive/superior... will be selling my dm10x (upgraded to mesh heads) soon I think
12 foam columns attached to a single center piezo...
this is the mod I used for my 12inch pads, I used 8 foam cut outs to disperse the full force of the hit... it actually works quite well, even if I hit the cones directly I dont get an overly exagerated velocity ready.
but in theory it should work...
alto sounds better than samson.
really paps? sino mas matibay?
3-yr user of Samson D415 for drums. Solve! Pero kailangan stereo. Hirap si D415 kapag isa lang(mono).
really paps? sino mas matibay?
dont know pre. nag samson ako dati kasi mas mura sa alto. pero nung narinig ko alto, mas balanced sya kesa samson. pero kung may driverack ka naman, doesnt matter which one you get

add ka sub :D
Here's what I did, tested the trigger by putting the crash cymbal's jack. Well either yung wire or yung mismong Module may problema.
sooo... alto or Samson huhuhuhuhuhu miss you paps sep HAHAHAHASamson kung tibay pag-uusapan! Miss you too bro! Hehehe
Samson kung tibay pag-uusapan! Miss you too bro! Hehehe
Naka experience na rin dati ako ng ganyang issue sa ekit ko so tnry ko rin ung gaya sayo pero my indication sa module nya na gumagana ung trigger kc ung LED makikita mong umiilaw kapag nkapick up ng signal from trigger kaya tiningnan ko muna sa mga settings sa module kung my nabago pro d ko mahanap kaya factory reset nlng ung last resort ko tas tumunog na ulit ung input from trigger. Hirap kc pg ganyang cable pag nasira mahirap ayusin or bibili ka ng bago.
Owner of a Roland TD-9k here.

Would try yupangco tho. Thanks!

pero ung bass pedal baka pwd mo pa idugtong yan kung d nmn naputol lahat nang cable..mono connection lng nmn yan kaya madali lng dugtungan o ayusin

try mo lng dto mag order pero international nga lng..baka japan ung magsupply..

Mga bro, available ba locally ang rubber actuator replacement for Roland FD8 hat pedal? Mine broke off kasi. Wanted to do the remedy pero when I opened it, it was broken na so I have to replace it instead
Magandang araw mga brader.
I just recently bought a used Roland TD 15KV at namomroblema ako sa hot spot.
Baka may suggestions kayo. :)
Is there any other way of playing a song as background and drum sound on one output like headphones na walang gamit na mixer? Tapos laruin mo na lang yung levels to your taste.
Another problem is, gumagamit ako ng EZdrummer. So yung out nya ay yung sa PC. Di pwede mag youtube at EZdrummer at the same time.
Tapos laruin mo na lang yung levels to your taste.Maraming salamat. May magandang solution nman pala.
planning to buy a starter e drums. ringway td92 or second hand alesis dm 6? kamusta pala feel ng alesis DM6? medyo close to real ba? Thank you for your input!
Thank you sir! btw, my e drums has limited number of pads (just the standard e kit) im used to having the 2 tom setup, can I assign my tom 2 to trigger the ride cymbal on my plugin software (i use ezdrummer and addictive drums 2). I want to use the original ride pad to be a china or a second crash sana. sa module ko they are assigned na e (ex. tom pad to a tom slot, ride pad to a ride slot.
not really used in having a 3 tom setup, is this possible? hope my inquiry made sense.
yes pwede. I do this as well. for ez drummer, you will have to change the midi note that your module is sending to the computer. I use Superior Drummer kasi, may learn button siya na when you click that button for the sound you want to hear, you just hit the pad where you want it assigned. mas madali mag custom kumbaga. may midi mapping ang EZ drummer where a specific sound corresponds to a midi note or number. hanapin mo lang yung gusto mong maging tunog tapos imap mo dun sa module mo.
I use ezdrummer 2 sir, saan kaya dun ang learn/map tool/option? sorry 2 days palang ako nagsstart mag e drums. haha.
Good evening mga tol!
Sino kaya dito may Alesis DM6/DM7/DM8? Tumatagal din ba ang hardware? Salamat sa sasagot :)
Ano pong suggestion nyong edrums, 20k po budget.. Thank you po!
alesis = medeli

This is probably the first time I posted in pinoy drums. Pa welcome naman guys! lol
I have experience with recordings, so I am pretty excited to get an e drums. No more 1 by 1 midi input for me!
Anyways. No, I am not a drummer at all but I wanna learn so please excuse any ignorance.
The only space is at my condo so I want it to be quiet. I dont plan to move around gigging with it. So the module wont be that important except sending signals to my PC cause I'm gona be using it with ezdrummer or addictive drums
After a few research, my budget can stretch between Alesis DM10 mesh or the KAT KT3.
Of course the more pads the merrier, hence my choices. Needs to be sensitive to catch the velocity and the kick can fit double pedals.
Based on the youtube demos, I like the Alesis DM10 better. Seems to be more humanized than the KAT KT3.
However, that is probably due to demos which do not justify which one sounds or more capable than the other.
KAT KT3 also looks nice but it is newer and almost the same price range of the DM10
Ano sa tingin niyo sa dalawa? May iba pa ba kayong suggestions maliban dyan na kasing presyo or mas mura?

Planning to buy E-drums. Nahihiya na ako sa kapit bahay namin. Hehehe. What are your suggestions? Okay ba and Medeli DD518dx? Any pros and cons about this product? Thanks!
First ever kit. Still learning like a child
GF bought me sticks weeks before the kit arrives. Medyo nararamdaman ko na nasasaktan un mga pads. so I did a quick search at dapat pala nylon ang tip
Question: I borrowed the double peds in the picture. Di ko alam model. Pero kung nakikita niyo, is that ok for the bass? Hindi masisira ung bass pad?

First, congrats on your new electric kit.
Wala kang maiistorbo, kasama man sa bahay o kapitbahay. Kahit anong oras pwede mag practice.
Second, newbie sa drums sir?
May I know what makes you decide to choose for an electric kit over an acoustic kit?
But nevertheless, e-kit is one of the nice to have instrument. Tuloy tuloy lang learning ng walang naiistorbo.
Third, peds in the pic is an old model of Gibraltar 5611db or 6611db with Pearl Quadbeater beaters.
Di naman siguro masisira yan. I believe the manufacturer of e-kits anticipated the pounding it will bear. So, di naman siguro sila gagawa ng alanganin. But, of course, in the long run, it will experience wear and tear rin.
Enjoy your new gear.
"One thing we hate as drummers, we buy it to hit it."
Thanks! Yes. Absolute noob here. As in I never had a kit before. Reason being is Im really a guitarist.
I sometimes record my own stuff and covers. But some drums software are way too perfect, fake and un-humanized. Tapos mahirap mag isip ng pattern using computer software.
So I thought if I can do it using my own hands an feet.
I am also not gigging anymore so I am just a hobbyist. Naisip ko never too late to play drums. And I dont have exercise anymore haha.
And I think it would be a great achievement personally if I learn a new instrument.
My band and I are still in contact though. I told them I have this kit now and I plan to finish our album ourselves this time.
So marami raming reason para magkaroon ng e-drums hehe
I think e drums can still teach me how to learn the basics of drumming and exercise the pattern skill same as having an acoustic kit. The feel of the hit may be different. But I think I can still incorporate it when the time I hit the studio again. Pero by that time, baka gitarista na naman ako haha.
Ahohohoy! Guitarist entering the drumming world. Enjoy the ride! Masarap yan, garantisado. Ako naman, pa-exit na sa drums, going to the guitars naman. Due to medical reasons, hearing to be specific.
Anyway, baka magkasundo tayo dito. Haha! Exchanging of the learnings we've learned with regards to our role as musicians. Ako naman si Noob guitarist. As in olats. But patiently learning, willing to rose from this instrument. Kahit late bloomer.
At oo naman, never too late talaga to learn something new. Hanggang sa pagtanda na yan. Words to live by.
It's just that, the natural bounce, wrist and finger skills you need to apply may be a bit compromised as the batter head you're gonna hit is slightly different from the real one.
Haha nice! Good luck!
Based on what I know, mas magastos ang pagiging gitarista.

Yes. but on the other hand, isang cymbals minsan ka-presyo ng ilang stomp box or sometimes the price of the whole pedal board!
Congrats paps!

sir if using felt beaters sa mesh head gamitan nyo ng bass pad para di mag himulmol ung mesh. Same reason why nylon tips ginagamit sa other pads :) I use an evans EQ clear patch double on mine.
Good looking kit by the way, nagdadalawang isip pa ko if kukuha ako ng pro-x hat, di kasi maganda review lalo na integration sa VST.
I have roughly the same kit DM10X hehehe

Ano kaya mas sulit between Medeli DD518dx and Alesis DM10x? Anyone? :-D
AFAIK, medeli din ang gumagawa kay alesis so, mejo parehas lang siguro sila in terms of durability.
Hello. Aspiring drummer here.
Ask ko lang if ok yung mga Medeli or Yamaha DD-65 for home use, rehearsal, jam and occasional recordings?
Matibay naman ba? Ok din ba feel nung pedals niya? thanks!
pwede na for jam and small gigs. I wouldn't use it for recording dahil limited lang ang capabilities nito, lalo na sa pedals. the pedals are just unlatching pedals and not actual drum pedals so there is virtually no feel.
Well I'm not really looking for the "real drum kit feel" since I just want something to fool around with and practice my rhythm with. And I'm just a guitar player occasionally playing as a substitute drummer for another band for the meantime. :)

Finally got my alesis dm7x last weekend.
To make it my slave pedal.

naka stealth kick paps, so hindi yung regular na pad for kick drums. Anyqays, may nakita akong roland pd8 sa mga fb pages, oks kaya yun as pad for my bass?
Sharing my experience.
Im using the dm7x to control superior drummer 2 on sonar x3. But the daw hangs when im recording with plug ins on. But it works fine without it. I just upgraded my ram to 6gb. Im thinking it could be the cable or the laptop itself.
Your thoughts?
what is your laptop's processor? its not only the ram. SD uses a lot of processing power.
Running on I3 chief.
I'm looking forward to buy my first e-kit this Xmas. My choices are Alesis Crimson kit and Medeli DD518x. Which is better? I need your help guys. Both are a bit pricey Ayoko magkamali sa pagbili. Hehe. Salamat!
Running on I3 chief.
ayan nga. mahihirapan ka talaga mag run ng multiple VSTs, lalo na VSTs like SD. lakas sa processing power niyan. at least an i5 will make things work.
go for the crimson. then again, medeli din ang gumawa ng pads ni alesis so, eitherway would be fine I guess.
DD518 user here :D baka gusto mo bilhin nalang sakin hahaha!
more processors needed, not RAM hehehe
workaround is to render or freeze tracks so it will create a mixed down version of each track or stem then the vsts will be disabled for these tracks. then do your new tracks. unfreeze the tracks again if you want to change settings then freeze them again afterwards. non-destructive naman yan.
try mo sa music source
Hello folks!
Meron bang shop na nagbebenta ng drum kits by module/part?
I'm looking for an Alesis kick drum trigger to use on my Medeli DD315, as well as a hi-hat pedal. Thanks! :)

Good day, sirs. Here's my 6y/o aspiring drummer with his Yamaha DTX400k kit (with minor upgrades).
Dahil uso ang Coldplay sa Pinas ngayon, this is his cover:
Medyo conscious pa pag may camera.

Is it normal na hindi talaga responsive ang drum roll sa edrums?
Or may kelangan lang ako iset?
Using Alesis DM10
sensitivity? I guess, when you hit them, kahit ilang times mo ihit, isang sound lang na proproduce? tama ba?

Using Alesis DM10
may kailangan ka iset: pad sensivity, even volume. not just on one pad. it has to balance with all the other pads too if there is a crosstalk setting.Kaya ayoko ng electronic drums eh. Parang laruan lang. Walang reality well for me.
my old roland td4k took me 1 month to learn and get the 'studio' patch to sound and feel how i wanted it to. then yung ibang patches became easier to tweak.
this is the reason why i went back to acoustic drums. no electronic drum will sound or feel good without tweaking - yes this is true even for the most expensive, high end models.

Sa church ko before were using TD11KV. Maganda lang output. Di mo na kailangang magtono. May feel naman siya and interaction like acoustic drum since mesh head pero iba yung feel. Madali ma peke ang hits mo. Sa acoustic hindi. Especially cymbals
theres no question about those cymbal pads. pero baka the cymbals from zildjian can help. mahal lang kasi.Gen 16 is a good replacement sa electronic pads. Dami pang choices ng tunog. Mahal lang talaga

Parang walang bell ung e-kit ko. Or baka kelangan ko pa iexplore sa setup? Baka alam nyo po. Ringway td82

walang bell yan.Thanks
negatib ako jan sa Gen16. walang usable sounds. hindi pa pwede gamitin to trigger a VSt </3
nakita ko nga to.Aw shiyet.

theres a roland kit available at the classifieds.
Sorry I forgot to mention I'll buy it brand new, we live abroad. The price mentioned is the Peso equivalent of my budget
Where exactly? If your budget is around 40-45kphp, so its around 900usd. You can get a roland for $1k. But with that budget you can also get an alesis.
Hmmm, I read quite a number of bad reviews on Alesis kits so maybe a Roland would be more preferable. Any specific Roland model? I don't mind the additional 100USD stretch
Alesis is fine (as long as you use it for Superior drummer). That's what I use :) anyways, the td-11k fits your budget:

Oks yan. Used 1 for a couple of months.
Ang chalap magkabudget ng ganyan!! Just to share, though walang panama kay roland, i got my td82 for only 12,500 - but this is brand new kaya happy na rin

The budget is half savings and half financed through a credit card :-PCguro 18 to 25 yung td92. Yung td82 ko cguro dapat 14 to 18 e thats why i feel happy to have it 12500. Goodluck po on your search to have the best kit. I have noticed brands named thomson tsaka behringer, but i dont know how good.
Magkano ba yun TD92? I'm thinking to buy the best kit my budget can buy that's why have it that high.
do not waste your money on these brands: ringway, thomson, behringer. the price is low but the quality isnt that good.I actually have seen a behringer of about 29k and a thomson of about 59k.

a thomson for 59k? :eek:Yeah but they would discount more.than half... hehehe

Read reviews and watched youtube videos on the TD-11k, mostly positive experiences for the owners, a lot of them also "upgraded" from an Alesis kit
Thanks for the advice
yun na nga point diba, hindi ka sa lazada bumili, so alam mong hindi yan yung totoo niyang presyo.I dont know. Hindi naman kc ako naglalazada. Never bought a thing.
I suggest you get the Roland. I have tried different kinds of kits na, high ends of alesis, medeli and Roland. Roland talaga eh. nothing even comes close. </3

Hmmm...once I'm free I'll visit the local Roland dealer and check their kits. thanks again for all your inputs

even if its cheap, its a waste of money. get the roland. :)Yep. And may budget naman sya. And kaya ko sya nasusulit is dahil hindi maingay. Can play anytime. Hehehe
Hmmm, I read quite a number of bad reviews on Alesis kits so maybe a Roland would be more preferable. Any specific Roland model? I don't mind the additional 100USD stretchI own an alesis dm-6. With drum vsts good na good na for practice and bahay jamming.
wala ng bango roland sa kin hahaha kasi naman hindi nag iimprove yung sound samples nila. even yamaha on their older dtxpress iv have better natural sounding drums than the td20.
get the pearl mimic pro if you have the budget. much better sounds than roland's current high end td50
lalo yata pumangit roland :-P

anong gamit mong kit paps?
baka makatulong
http://www.graysonkilmer.com/2015/09/03/how-to-setup-the-hi-hat-pedal-in-superior-drummer-2
yun din yung naging problema ko before with this, naging tolerable na sya and naging mas reactive lalo na pag nag cclose and open using the pedal.
Pips, just want to ask here if say, ur e-kit is in a room na sementado naman, but there are other rooms right beside yours. Though bulahaw free ang e-kit, but from the sound of hitting and kicks, not considering having to plug sa speaker, could it disturb ur beloved neighbors or keri lang?

vibrations ang kalaban mo chief. Check mo to http://www.v-drumtips.com. Dami rin akong nakuhang tips jan most importantly yung how to isolate vibrations.
kailangan mo i-isolate yung drum kit mo kasama yung drum throne. search ka sa google on how to create "electronic drum kit riser"

Anyone tried using a real hihat with an electronic kit? Im thinking about buying a pair of hats. Iba kasitalaga ghost notes pag real hats gamit.
try the L80. sounds great and feels grat!
ano mas maganda edrum,
Behringer xd80usb or Medeli dd403?
or any recommendation for php 35k budget.

OT:
Talked to a mod and gave a them the bestest reason.
yeah, naisip ko rin but based from the reviews its not that good
with superior.
oh, not the GEN16 ha! I just meant the low volume cymbals. are you looking to trigger the cymbals?
possibly but I had a different plan.
Originally, balak ko kumuha ng new beat or kahit arborea na hats since my extra condenser mic pa ko sa bahay. pero naisip ko yung CROSS TALK. olats yun kasi super lakas ng tunog ng mga rubber pads ng alesis
mappick up sya ng mic at lalo lang siguro ako mahihirapan mag mix.
I saw some vids about the l8's the edrum forum sa fb and kay sam (subcapular/udub) and medjo ok naman sya. so baka dun na nga ko mag stick. sakto may trade in madness si jb.
-edit - gen16 pala gamit nya.
ang sama kasi ng stock sounds ng Gen16 :( but hey, do let us know how your experiment turns out man!
Its hard to find good pads dito but last resort are the ringway cymbal pads.
Setup ko now is, alesis dm7x. 3 toms, 2 splashes, 2 crashes, ride, at 1 china, 1 stack.
Before I had some delays sa dm7x ko using the module. But with proper curving sa sd2, naging ok na naman sya.
The module will serve as a connector na lang. Overall control will be on the software. Curves, sensitivity etc.
At ano pa kaya suggestion nyo na possible contender ng alesis crimson from other brands like medeli, kat or 2nd hand roland/yamaha?
Help mga master.. my brother has a TD11K and we play in our little studio at home dedicated for making youtube videos.
Zoom R24 recorder then reaper ang DAW.
Headphones lang monitors namen through a Behringer headphones amp.
Our dilemma is stereo output lang yun drums into the R24 which doesn't give flexibility sa final mixing and I was thinking kung pwede connected sa laptop or ipad as MIDI controller yun drums while connected din yun stereo outputs sa R24.
you can easily connect the kit via usb/midi cable. Then hanap kana lang ng drum software like
EZ DRUMMER or whatever. Then configure sa daw para multi out.
Magwowork ba sya na nagfifeed pa din stereo output sa zoom r24 kahit na connected as midi controller or either lang pwede at a time
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
hindi na, and no need to get the modules sound kung may software kana.
^ Hindi namen kelangan marinig yung VST sounds habang nag rerecord, kelangan lang module sounds kasi live recording yun dating for the video.
While mixing sa Reaper instead na yun stereo sound ang gamitin ko na tracks for the drums, gamitin ko yun MIDI with VST sana para mas flexible kasi separate tracks.
If I understood it correctly, pwede sya simultaneously nagrerecord through stereo out and flash drive for the MIDI, tama ba?
suggested setup from what you mentioned above.
ekit midi out connected to laptop to enable multi track recording using vst (input monitoring off so you wont hear anything)
ekit module stereo out connected to zoom to hear the modules sound.
the usb port on the it isnt meant for transferring files chief. it only sends midi signals.
Above pic - printer cable
Below pic - midi to usb cable
kaya yan ng neighborhood TV/Electronics repair man niyo. palit piezo lang yan most probably.
Nakakapanibago but I guess masasanay rin. What are your thoughts on the Sabian Evolution HHX 14 Dave Weckl? Should I just bought the Sabian Xs 20 cymbal set?
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
the HHX Evolution I think, is one of the most musical cymbal series right now.Parang di sya bagay sa closed hi hat sound when used with the e-drums but sounds very nice when my son plays the usual jazz groove. Was tempted to go Xs20 so budget friendly and complete but went with a good one time purchase hi hat cymbals. Nakakapanibago lang hirap controlin ang lakas ng tunog and the height is too high.
its miles away from an XS20, but the XS20 is a very decent banger set :)

well, if volume is an issue, okay nga yung XS20. mas mahina kasi yun and thinner.
on a stage however, kakanta yang HHX Solid.
Alright then a winning purchase. Any tips on how to set this up? Heres how it looks like now angled and all with that height difference.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190521/b79edcba8f79b8f98b1dfb25fc237949.jpg)

I'd lower it, and then the bottom hat should be flat, at least in my preference. there are adjustment screws that raise the bottom hat felt. I will bring that down para straight, iwas wash, iwas sobra ingay hahahaOk thanks I’ll try a straight base cymbal.
Would you know how I can convert the heads of my Roland TD 11k to mesh heads? Thanks!
