Spotlight Show Bar in Makati, Japanese-owned and operated, just celebrated their 3rd year anniversary on Friday, March 28 to Sunday, March 30. The place is now under new management.
Entertainment Lineup for Spotlight:
The Spotlight Band headed by Musical Director Ike Reynoso plays everyday except Sunday, featuring two singers each night. The singers are Elise, Dean, Arnel, Musica, Ailyn, Madz and Jonah, alternating six (6) nights of the week. Sundays, they have another band with Louie Simbulan on keyboards and bandleader and singers Mario and Jen. Together with these formidable musicians are a bevy of beauties called the Spotlight Dancers who perform a mix of cultural dances from Tinikling to Singkil to Sayaw sa Bangko all in modern renditions, courtesy of EMA or Entertainment Management Association, a talent management firm who had been in the business for more than 20 years.
Spotlight has a P250 cover each night which includes a drink and 3 kinds of appetizers. Their 3-day anniversary special (Friday, March 28 to Sunday, March 30) had a P400 ticket which includes all-you-can-eat buffet and a choice of drink (beer, softdrinks, tea or coffee, wine and cocktail). For those who bought the ticket but did not get the chance to go, the P400 ticket is also good to use until April 30, without buffet.
