I want to buy a FA1 but i want to know what differs it from the FA2 aside from the tuners, fretboard and the pups...

I've tested one of the semi hollow greg bennett sa festival mall.. color yellow.. I forgot the model name e.. pero I was hesitant at first kasi, we have a greg bennett guitar at church.. I'm not totally about the guitar though...

but boy oh boy, I was in for a surprise.. that semi hollow guitar played beautifully.. the neck is a bit thin though... but still it's nice for the price!

me i got me one already.. it's more like a schecter (pati ung tindero yun ung sinabi)
ang parang RG eh ung Interceptor series.. hindi kasi arched top un interceptor.. me floyd pa yun cool din wala nga lang bindings

the only thing that i hate about this guitar is the metallic (glitter when seen close up) finish.. kinda distracting in a way.. but everything else is all good (for me)

a couple of minor flaws but its worth 10,600php so i can't complain..

overall nagagandahan ako sa kanya.. hindi ako nagsisi na binili ko siya..

Congrats bro, quality buy talaga ang GB guitars. btw, anong model to? looks like an interceptor pero you said iba siya. kamusta yung neck? kasi sa interceptor sobra taba ng neck eh. thanks

CD-2 sir Concorde series.. OK naman ung Set in neck nya parang ung set in ng Ibanez ARC saka ART series..
pictures don't do justice sa bindings nya ang ganda ng bindings.. pati ung sa gilid ng frets naka 4 ply din..  ung neck i think mataba din eh.. i didn't try the interceptor series pero i think pareho ung neck nila.. d ko alam i dont have anything to compare it to right now.. nasa dubai na ibanez ko eh

Just went window shopping sa Lazer Manila kahapon, and may nakitang akong Greg Bennett Les Paulecaster (just made that up). Body of a Les Paul with two-duncan designed hb with that metal plate sa bridge. Na-curious ako kung anong tunog , may nakapagtest na ba sa inyo?

Nakita niyo na ba yung GB na mukhang avion pero may pickguard ng Tele? i saw one sa Lazer, Festival mall Alabang.. it's color blue na may white tele pickgurad..

it looks awkward, and the thing is, wala sa site ng GB.. either the site ain't updated or medyo nagdududa na rin ako kung legit pa ang mga GB sa kanila.. lol..

Btw, it's called AV-4, part of the avion series, it was discontinued years ago. It's a good LP actually, it has push/pull pot so that you can have that single-coil tone! I would really love to have that one this coming christmas!

It reminds me of a similar guitar na parang tele + LP din. Forgot the brand, nasa dulo na ng dila ko. One of our moderators here have that, iirc.

What can I say about this guitar? It's really great for its price! Here are the pros and cons in my opinion:

PROS:
- The aesthetics and construction is great! (For me) Having a unique lespaul with the control plate of a tele.
- Action is really good, I still need to set this one up but the action without proper set-up is still great!
- It doesn't have that fat neck (it may be a disadvantage for the others but its an advantage for me since I really don't have that hand to handle those necks)
- This one is made out of mahogany and not nato.
- It has a push/pull pot to switch from hb to sc.
- This one is a discontinued model so you won't see much of these around.

CONS:
- As expected, you need to change the DD pups. Well for me, the pups doesn't have that punch that I usually want and the "single-coil" option lacks something. I'm planning to change the pups with good ones. (BK pups maybe? ) LOL! in my dreams!)
-Photo (Foto) flame maple on top.

I really don't like the duncan designed pups, the amp whistles when engaged with a high gain pedal, but the guitar is great when it comes to blues
and hard rock. And the AV4 in lazer is available only in blue, they don't have the sunburst. Overall, the guitar is really worth it, I'll prefer this over an Epi LP with its great cosmetics ( I can't see any flaws with the construction), except for the pups. I'll post some pics soon.

Nice review. Bareknuckles are great pickups. Go get them. haha. Kahit sa Lazer Festival Mall Alabang, blue lang din ang namataan kong AV-4.

Haha!  Thanks!  My hopes of buying a pair of BK is getting thin. Wala daw kasi makita yung tita ko non, black friday pa naman ngayon.
