im done with all the pc building. di ko kinaya dahil ambigat sa budget tapos very minimal na ang gaming ko ngayon.
the 256bit geforce gpu i have in my pc is good enough for all my photo/video editing needs. hard drives and pinag uubusan ko ngayon ng pera. oh and a decent ips led monitor.
oh well, christmas wishlist.

I know marami sa Gilmore pero any specific shops to ask? Tsaka ano na ba acceptable specs lalo na for Sims 4? 30k to 40k budget including monitor.

kung sims 4 lang nman CPU : Intel Pentium G4560 -3k to 3.5k Graphics Card : GTX 1050 - php 6k+
you can play latest games on mid-high settings dyan 1080p

Ayos lang ba na wala munang video card for Steam games? What I'm thinking AMD Ryzen 5, 8gb RAM. Integrated graphics muna siguro.

^you can start with that. decent setup yan to do basic and intermediate tasks. the 8GB ram has somewhat become a standard nowadays, salamat sa resource hungry programs hehehe. ako naka 6GB pa rin ngayon but i can still use photoshop, lightroom and some basic video editing via premiere pro. procy is a first gen intel i5.

nako paps walang integrated GPU ang lumang Ryzen CPU. you need a dedicated video card on that one. pero yung bagong Ryzen 5 2400G meron sila and they call it APU.. makikita naman un nakalagay Ryzen w/ Vega Graphics yung mga lumang ryzen lang ang wala.. imho Ryzen APU is sht kung plano mo mag ka video card :)

Sorry i dont understand. I am referring to integrated video card of the mobo. AMD Ryzen 5 1400 yata ang available ngayon which I will probably check out. Thank you!

madami talaga na lilito dito.. uhmm to make it clear.. walang Onboard Graphics ang mga mobo.. pero meron silang support for onboard graphics coming from the CPU.. that's why they have a vga/dvi or hdmi slots sa mobo. and yes kailangan mo ng dedicated gpu for Ryzen 5 1400.
edit: when they started adding the gpu in CPU wala na atang nag lagay ng integrated gpu sa mobo :-D

AMD calls it APU instead of CPU dahil meron na nga naman kasamang GPU.

yup lahat ng intel meron pero not good enough for gaming.. ang sa amd designed for budget gaming.. meron pa nga ang amd na feature dati na pag parehong series ang integrated gpu mo at dedicated video card mo ay pwede mo silang i crossfire parang mag sasanib pwersa si integrated gpu at dedicated gpu.. :-D

you don't really that much of performance from a gpu kung video editing. mas cpu dependent ang video editing. GTX 1050 can handle 1080p res, while 1050ti can go upto 4k res. I suggest na mag invest ka sa processor and ram instead of gpu kung video editing, don't forget the ssd.

mura na din ssd ngayon.
got a 120gb Kingston sa lazada for 1700. grabe bilis. windows 7 pa rin gamit ko - bale mag boot sya tapos buuin nya lang yung apat na colors to form the windows logo then screen goes black for 1 sec, homescreen with 2 secs of hourglass for startup programs tapos yun na. dati nakakapikon mag launch ng programs Lalo na pag medyo mabigat like photoshop, lightroom kasi it takes minutes for the whole thing to load up. mas masaklap pa pag gagamitin mo si photoshop na side-loaded ni lightroom. pero ngayon, sabay ko binubuksan, sabay din mag up within 10 secs.

may mga way dn para ma pa bilis yung hdd like raid 1 and intel optane.. not practical tho..

yup, it is mainly stuffed with OS and program files. the media files and documents are stored in separate platter drives. oh and the transfer procedures i do pag kukuha ng files galing sa external source(flash drive to pc) sa ssd ko drop yung files tsaka ko nililipat kung san partition talaga sila nakatabi.
im actually planning on making another purchase of 120GB ssd kaso wala na ko mapag lagyan sa loob ng pc. i have about 4 drives in there including the ssd.

depende sa files mo :-D if it is worth saving..
RAID 0 for stripping or performance both read and write, RAID 1 for mirroring incase of drive failure. RAID 10 for both stripping and mirroring.. since naka ssd ka raid 0 is no longer an option not unless gusto mo mas malaking storage w/ decent performance (intel optane pde din dito). for 0 and 1 need mo ng 2 identical HDDs for raid 10 you need 4 identical hdds. plus raid controller. soo medyo pricey sya kung malaking $$ ang mawawala sayo plus abala incase of disk failure.. yup sulit padn sya kung personal use dn nman bili ka nalang ng external drive for backups

I mainly store photos of the events ive shot and seeing that the number of events I have covered and will be covering have increased, there is that need to store the raw photos for a certain period of time and then delete them(I am setting a standard of keeping the photos for 6 months tapos delete ko sa hdds ko to make room for new events). Syempre andun din yung mga photos na minahal mo sa bawat event na kinunan(the "keepers") and they also have a tendency to pile up so big storage is becoming a necessity to my work.
medyo mahaba na yang storage procedure ko na yan kasi sa iba one month lang delete na nila. basta na turn over na yung work sa client start na ng count ng 30 days tapos delete na nila agad. nasa contract din kasi nila yun so di na sila liable in case mawala ni client yung copies nya.

okay sana ang NAS or fileserver kaso yun nga since homebased hindi din praktikal and you need static ip.. not a requirement pero it saves you from updating settings eveytime na mag bago ip mo. external bay talaga best solution dyan. I was planning to have a file and hosting server at home dati. I have an enterprise server na entry level sa bahay running Windows Server 2016 (3 years eval) all set na sana biglang hindi pla nag ooffer ng static IP si pldt fibr. ayun iyak. Up for sale na sya ngayon

RAM if you can stretch it up to 2x 8gb 3200mhz mas ok (take note na you need to check kung kaya i handle ng motherboard mo yung ganyang ram speed, some needs a bios update). if not. always go with 2pcs of ram. not unless you have plans of upgrading/adding ram go with 1 stick then add nalang ng isa pa later on.
when it comes to gaming, ram speed always win for ddr4 8gb ram sapat na to sa most demanding games to date. either go for 2x 4gb or 1x 8gb (add ka nalang ng isa pa soon na mag ka budget)
if you have to choose betwee the 3. go for Ryzen 5 2600 kung Ryzen 5 1600 vs Ryzen 5 2400G naman. go for Ryzen 5 1600
why not go for RX580?
Title: Re: Project Build - PC Gaming

I went with ryzen 2600.

ram for video editing e mas better dapat more ram rather than faster ram. go with 16gb 2400mhz. beyond 24gb is overkill. 8gb is limited.

run in safe mode.. pag hindi nag freeze or bsod there's an issue with installed apps. if still an issue. check the event logs. pag wala dn. check the cpu temp. pag oks. reseat the ram and cpu. if nothing works. update your windows os. after update at hindi pa dn okay. pa check mo yung ram. btw ano na bili mo ram.
also check your ssd/hdd firmware updates. and verify kung compatible yung ram sa system mo just to be sure

for 25k ganto specs.
intel xeon e3 1650 v4 (this will fck any latest intel i7/i9 as pro. workstation and around -5% to -10% gaming performance against i9) tho mas pricey if you buy bare unit 16gb DDR4 ram 256gb ssd and the best part Nvidia Quadro M4000 (this unit alone can be sold for 30k)
not to mention yung price ng processor.

hindi mo talaga makikitang buo yung laman ng 1tb. same with other storage capacities. kahit phones natin marketed as 32GB rom, ibawas mo yung android at system files(launcher, etc). kahit isang bagong bukas na 2tb hdd ang makikita mo lang ay 1.8tb na mas disappointing dahil almost 200gb nawawala. its a marketing ploy to round up hdd capacities to the nearest greater number that looks attractive to the consumers.

May nagbenta sakin Seagate for 1600 brand new hahaha. I checked HD Sentinel and ako talaga first user.

posibleng need mo mag download ng gamepad controller profile para mag work dun sa rom mo yung controller. kung walang ganun option, try tweaking the rom itself to see what options are there para madetect nya yung gamepad.
