hi mga sir! ask ko lang if. . whats your setup kung magpplay ka sa church ng naka cajon? meron ba ditong naka cajon then naka bonggos din? at may cymbals? thanks

make use of extra thin and thin weight splashes around 8-12 inches. have mics setup as well, one sa cajon port, one sa bonggos then one more kung kakanta ka din (just in case..)

Good point Sir riff_6603, kahit s outdoor set up like bars ito ang mdalas ko mkitang set-up ng mga kahonista. Mic-in ang mga instruments from the chime and bongos to the cahon itself. Kung church set-up I suggest you should also use splash with warm tone so it would blend in with the church music (solem).

AFAIK merong remo bongo heads sa JB Music. best to check them out re updated stocks and prices.

check out djembe pilipinas face book page... you can learn a ton about djembe from kit perez. in application you can play with Kayumanggi Ubuntu ensemble you can check them at kayumanggi drum...
