Mackie Onyx 400F has 4 Mic Preamps inputs (1-4) and 4 line inputs at the back (5-8).
What particular signals should I put on the 1st four inputs?
I'm using 3 Mackie Onyx 400F and I'm thinking of putting drums signal on the 1st four inputs of all the 3 units so I can manage the gain structure.
Or is it just the same because I'm running all the signals through a mixer straight to the interface.
Which setup is better?
Mics -> SoundcraftLX7II -> Direct outs -> Mackie Onyx 400F.
