Hello Im Dennis and I did a couple of studio shots for Lokomotiv's media kit here in Laguna Niguel. Please rate them!! Thanks! If u want the photos U can have it but please retain the watermark if it has one. Thanks
BTW Lokomotiv is consist of former members of Wolfgang WOlf Gemora and Basti Artadi with Razorback's David Aguirre and Danny Gonzalez

I had a slave flash behind my subject when I triggered that shot but I dunno why it didnt fire and Basti had to leave cause he was moving that night to San Fransisco so I didnt get the chance to fix that slave flash. I probably shot over 800 images that whole day and only about 200 came out really good. But of all photos I shot, this probably is the best pose they did that night.
But youre right I shouldve insisted to at least put a hairlight on em.

actually, i can back that up because i use common sense. i just quickly checked what the current population is and it's 6,497,423,805. 1% of 6,497,423,805 is 64,974,238. now think about it. are you telling me that there's more than 65 million photographers in the world right now then? to be more accurate i should've said something like 99.8% instead of just 99%.

The 2nd picture looks like they just "freeze framed" it off the bat and did some crappy photoshop on it. Nothing unique, nothing special, just plain. It's funny too, I thought you photographers were good - too bad, your photos are just plain sh*t. HAHAHA.

ok, that picture is far more cooler than the second lokomotiv picture in this thread. when i look at that picture i think, "wow, this is cool." i didn't get that from the second lokomotiv picture.

Dennis! nice shots! better than any other shots ive seen! :D i myself is trying to be a good photographer! most shots i have are just sceneries tho! i cant get the hang of taking pictures with low lights. im just not good at it... hehe or maybe b'coz im just using a Sony F828 with just a pop up flash!! :roll: hehe
anyway, we've met before, i think!, at zen sushi.. we played right before lokomotiv... i am the bassist of "blindcry"...

and yeah, i really prefer your photography to your illustrations on that page. your illustrations remind me too much of nu-metal bands and their habit of having cartoon versions of themselves. you know, like korn, limp bizkit, slipknot, etc.

oh! Lemme rephrase that.. I had a band and played with Razorback a couple of times and I think that was in Makati (Yosh Cafe) Im not sure if that small club's still standing. I was thinking of Sky church when I was typing my reply yesterday, couldnt get over that experience when we played with them at Dredd. Those guys rock!
I will be leaving next week for a 5 month deployment so I wont be around to shoot Lokomotiv anymore. I have somebody taking my place though and Im not sure if you guys have seen him at Zen last time I was there, his name's Alex Pascual and he is the official photographer of Hot Import Nights.
