ok naman tunog niyan sa pandinig ko kahit ganyan yung tuning, kumbaga iba iba yan, wala naman masama jan sir wax static.

oo nga. ganyan din ako magtune eh. mas loose ung snare side para may body ung tunog. kung baga, lumalabas ung tunog ng shell. un eh sa aking opinion lang. hehe.  :lol: post pa ng mga snares!  :mrgreen:

yung collar kasi nung batterhead is deep, yung reso head naman is shallow, so kahit equal tuning, hindi tlga sila magpapantay...
naghahanap din kasi ako dati nung shallow collared heads, bihira din kasi yun...

vaughncraft steambent 14x5.5

gusto ko kasi magkaron ng vintage snare without the vintage problems kaya vintage spec yung edges pero modern yung hardware na gagamitin.

raw pa lang yung nasa pic. im still in the middle of applying tung oil, next week pa matatapos.

para talagang vintage spec, i intentionally made an "imperfect" bearing edge. para kasing yung imperfections nung mga old drums ang nagbibigay sa kanila ng character








iba talaga tunog ng steambent. mas mataba at may wood character talaga kesa dun sa mga ply shells.

i used old heads kasi wala pa ko budget para sa bagong heads  :-D
