Hi Blowing Section Peeps!

Id like to ask some firsthand advice. Im planning to get my dad a saxophone. There plenty here 2nd hand. Id like to know the things I should consider when buying a 2nd hand sax?  Which brand? price range? made where? etc.

unlike guitars and pedals..Im a total noob about the technical stuff regarding saxophones..

Anong maadvice nyo din a good type of sax for a begginer? alto sax ba? yung tama lang di kalakihan..pang hobby hobby lang..

Throw in whatever you know, tips and tricks here..Thanks in advance!
