Good Funk Songs to Play or Jam to...

Please suggest Funk songs and Bands to play and jam to with a bit of an edge.

Tried posting Way Baaaack in the rock forum and all i ever got was:

P.O.T
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Jamiroquai
Early Incubus

These are all good bands but they've been bled and played to death (me included)

Maybe Blues and jazz people have a better grasp of this genre, since Blues and Jazz have been known to intermarry with Funk

So post away!!!
