He Demanded JB a Gretsch kit and an Airplane Sundo to Baguio before attending the camp. Tsk tsk tsk. Whatda tinalo pa nya sila Mike Alba, Jun Regalado, and Ernie Sev na kahit super taas na nang naabot nila eh super humble paren. Sorry to say guys but your idol has the biggest head in the industry. I don't usually bash name here in the Forum but the way he acted in the camp is not good. Ika nga ni Mike Alba "The time you realized na super galing kana(sa yabang) is the start of your fall".

It's okay, bro Sandy. I think we can keep this going, since what you said is based on actual experience, and to make the community aware of this situation. And it's coming from you bro, knowing you as a person and as a credible drummer.

Nakakalungkot nga namang isipin na ganito ang nangyari at ganyan pala si Vic. It's just strange yet true in a lot of situations... It's ironic to find out about the true colors of the person you admire. And what Mike Alba said (I highlighted it above)... Totoo yan.

I hope Vic and his camp can air their side of the story.

Let's just keep this discussion civil and constructive.

ako rin may bad experience kay vic naka back to back namin sila and i was waching him sa back stage nagulat nalang ako ng biglang tumalsik yung floor tom tinabig pala nya dahil sumandal sa right leg nya may kalayuan din ang pag talsik ng tom naka sagabal siguro sa pag apak nya sa pedal ... sabagay bad trip nga yun kaso i dont think thats the way you should react tapos pag baba ng stage direcho na sa kotche wala ng fans fans ...

too bad na kung kelan graduating na ako sa HS biglang nawala ung
isa sa mga "driving force" ko sa pagpalo.

Let's all just pray for the guy that he might realize what he's become.
I just hope that it ain't to late for him to change though.

I didn't know that Vic Mercado was like that...Bad Trip naman yan, i thought he was a nice guy, well i didn't meet him in person but when he plays...nakikita mu yung pagiging drummer niya, his admirable trait...may passion talaga ang dude sa drumming...well drumming aside, dahil dito sa thread nato nagkaroon na akong ng 1st impression...ang masasabi ko nalang tungkol dyan...may saying nga "the spotlight burns" so kung ganun lang pala at badtrip ka sa mga fans mo or wala ka nang "utang na loob" then this would be a downfall for him...He is one of the promising drummers in the Philippines and to tarnish that with "BIG HEAD" Syndrome...such a waste....

maging positibo na lang tayo mga kapatid para hindi tayo mafrustrate. iadmire na lang natin yung skills niya sa pagtugtog, (meron pa rin naman tayong mapupulot doon kahit papaano) tapos yung mga hindi magandang ugali, kanya na lang yun...

i have something to say in behalf of the people here who actually idolize you

we all know that you are talented...
but true talent comes from humility...

lagi ko sinasabi sa mga comments ko dito sa philmusic...

respect begets respect....

please respect those who are senior to you with regards sa industry na pinasukan mo...

dati bumibili ako ng album ni bamboo dahil sayo... at kay nathan...
ngayon kung magkakaron man kayo ng bagong album...
bibili pa ren ako... pero dahil na lang gusto ko ang type of music ni bamboo...
regardless if it was you who's on drums or not...

to sir DIO.... You can delete this post anytime if you feel that this post is offensive... but my purpose why i posted here is to give an unsolicited constructive criticsm...

di ko taLaga aLam kung anu na nangyayari kay sir vic mercado.... sa unang tingin parang mabait naman and respectful, naka-usap ko na sya minsan nung gig niLa dito sa navaL, biLiran Last oct. 30.. medyo ok naman sya, kaya Lang may tinatago paLa syang di kanais-nais na ugaLi.... sayang, isa pa naman sya sa mga dahiLan kung bakit gusto kong matuto tumugtog ng jazz....
