Multi-Effects in front of an amp

Hello Guys,

Noob question. how do you setup your multi-effects in front of an amp? I used to own a zoom G3x that sounds THIN in front of an amp which prompted me to let go of it and get a Line 6 HD400.
Until now hindi ako mapakali sa patches ko with the Line6 HD400. what output mode do you use (studio or live) and why?

isa sa mga na-realize ko lang lately is kailangan i-tweak mo pareho yung EQ ng amp at yung EQ ng multi-effects. hindi kasi sa lahat ng pagkakataon eh flat lang ang settings ng EQ ng amp kahit gamit mo na yung EQ ng multi-effects.

Nagamit ko na karamihan ng multieffects from DIgitech to Zoom to Korg to Boss... and in the last 10 yrs Line 6..PODXT Live and now HD500X.  Ginagamit ko sya ng direct sa amp... lahat 12 o clock lng..and out to amp/live... then pag manipis... Equalizer.  PERO mas nagustuhan ko nung na subukan ko gumamit ng powered speaker tapos OUT to Studio. After that experience mas nag stick nako sa powered speaker pag multieffects gamit ko.

Check mo to....PODXT Live lng gamit ko.. to a powered speaker ng club. Not sure if it was Yorkville or something.

Now.. im using a KRK Rokit or QSC sa gig... magaan pa.  Maganda din daw yung Atomic CLR  ..pero di ko pa na try

Best way to prevent this in my experience is to either tweak with your band, or use an a/b switcher to compare the unit directly with either a good sounding amp, or a good sounding analog pedal.

so ang gamit mong out is live? san mo kinakabit from POD yung papuntang powered speakers?

I plug it in the Send-Return channel. Kung wala tweak sa amp na ren to compliment the sound the band needs.

pag nagpplug ka sa effects loop ng amp pano connection mo? anong output ng multi to effects loop ng amp? sa send or return ba?
