i think the body is kinda like a slightly mutated jaguar body, the upper horn is much more longer and the body wider



btw, there's a cheap JM posted on ishibashi right now..and it's vintage white

not sure Nat, just saw this sa online shopping website nila..hahaha though they just sold 2 recently..pero Im quite uncomfy with the looks..haha and the super fake fender decal..parang di ka magiging proud to own..haha

di ako definitely bibili....pero depende pa rin pano mo na-acquire...kasi pag may nagbigay sa kin ng ganyan, una tatangalin ko yung decal saka immutilate yung body, papalitan yung pickups, pipinturahan ng black at tatadtarin ng stickers tapos pwede ko na itong ihagis or sunugin sa mga gigs hahahahaha  magkano kaya yung ganyan?....hmmmm

Here's my MIJ Lyle 1802T, it's an Epiphone ET-270 copy. One of the Japanese lawsuit guitars circa 1970-1980 under the Matsuoko companies (i.e. Aria, Univox). It was rescued from a pawnshop. Haha!

Hey Sir Francis! I'm not really sure about much of Lyle guitars' history, but that's new info. I read that this guitar was supposedly a diversion made by the company during the lawsuit era by using Epiphone's body format, but Fender's headstock. It "worked" for such a minimal amount of time, but became a double whammy for them. I'm currently searching for another 1802T with the black outline of the Lyle brand. And a Tele. Haha!
