Whenever I see mango wood being used on a guitar build, I always assume it will be on the heavy side. 6.14lbs is surprisingly light. You can wear that guitar all night long without having to worry about your back. Thanks for this pic.

i always use to do that as well, when i was new to electric guitar i always thought mahogany would be so heavy. but overtime that changes which is good.

The builder is troy casquejo from mactan cebu, i have a build with him before an kamagong s-type, that was one heavy guitar..
he is more an acoustic builder so back then he didnt know what makes a good guitar for me. but after a few discussions he was able to give me what i wanted. so now im starting my bass guitar build with him that would be also made of the same wood and an two acoustic guitar builds
