hi just bought my first firewire interface and im experiencing some noise during playback, ung pc ko po ksi walang firewire connection so i just bought a generic cd-r king firewire card para ma use ko lng ask lng po ako kung nakaka affect ba un sa hiss.

does firewire drive latency and asio buffer size affect?

go to the support page of your firewire interface and check... firewire audio interfaces are known to be picky about chipsets. a texas instruments chipsets is usually preferred.  althought I have no experience with firewire hardware.
