ang tanong ko sa SCALARIZER ay ito. Sa isang pick up lang ba nilalagay??? Kasi based on the thread dito and sa other thread, it sounded as if you can only put it in one pick up only or when you put a scalarizer, it woks on all the p ups. IM really interested kasi, and i want one on my squire with stock p ups.

Labo talaga.  So talagang habol niyo is affordability and not tone.

affordability bec not a single average earned person could afford your titanium blocks.
scalaizer makes a lot of difference once na kinabit mo na., not unlike your titanium na kelangan mo pa ng mabagsik na amp just to hear the difference... you mentioned this on your titanium review.

just be there on saturday para marinig din nmin yung tunog nung ax mo with the itanium.

hmm i wonder if BAMF acquires a patent for it, sells it internationally at a much higher price, gets well known a few years after to generate enough snobs to a critical mass. I won't be surprised if a snob would eventually brag about his $$$ purchase of the "scalarizer" by then.

prognostication, my friend. thank you for your optimism

Seriously, guys, esp. BAMF, you should think of patenting this product...  it has happened a lot of times, great ideas from filipinos were either stolen or bought at a ridiculously low price....  if you guys plan on marketing this worldwide, there a re a whole lot of opportunists out there who will pounce on an idea and claim it as their own....
From a legal point of view, yung inventor ang talo pag nangyari yun....  sayang if its an original or pioneering idea pa naman....

Just wanting to protect our own, so to speak.... it doesn't cost much to do, but the protection you get is priceless....

More power, BAMF et al....  ps... will this work on ANY guitar?  I have an old Bruno Conqueror bolt on neck hollow body, nice tone but anemic.... i wonder if the scalarizer can change this?

By the way, regarding name ideas, it should be called the SCANDALIZER, because (as the testimonials are showing) it can make any guitar sound Scandalizingly good..... wheheehehe  :-D :-D

we can all be happy :) i've got her photo book, who wants? will email it to the buyers of the scalarizer  :-D

I'll buy but you have to send the photo book to me first  :-D

ok, ok, now i'm really convinced, if only for the "but wait...there's more offer" of Akane Sakura pics.  :-D  i'll have one installed and i'll really call you on that photo book offer eh?!

about the patenting thing, maybe you should talk to sir letour about it, he's into IP (intellectual property) law, if i'm not mistaken.  maybe he can help you out.  hehehe sir letour sensya na kung binenta kita. hahahaha.

to all users who have used or those who had their guitars scalarizzled:

will you guys please describe the tone?

im curious... but im not a curiosity buyer so ill need a little convincing rather than hearing "gumanda ang tunog" etc.

if anyone could fix some descriptions to what the mod does to the sound (or provide soundclips if possible), it would be a GREAT help for me and for those who are having second thoughts of buying the little gizmo.

dalawa palang klase na mods available nh? hmm

bamf: is it possible to make an internal switch para makakapili ka between two types? i dont know if this is possible. but if it can be done, consider me a sure buyer of 2 scalarizers

Brother Paengkee,

as for your question, i'll to describe it in away you would fully appreciate and understand this concept. This is how BAMF explained to me before and after he installed the scalarizer.

I have a Fender MIJ 62 ri which I use as my main axe. it sport your normal vintage sound since its equipped with TExas Specials (ALNICO pups). Before the scalarizer, it has the fender tone that everyone is aware of,  warm, punchy, a bit biting but sweet. Kulas describes my pup configuration as hot..But for me ...as long as it sounds good when its clean and smooth when overdriven ok na sakin.

But what made it better after the scalarizer? It had more punch, the detail of every notes went crystal clear in a matter of seconds after it was installed. The sparkle was way clearer than it was before, and I even had a smoother tone when drive  mode is engaged.

I had this installed on the epiphone pro series 1 with OLB pups as well.  same effect...even better. crystal scalarizer pa lng yan.  I was thinking....waht if I install the metal version...psychic_sushi has it on the tele...chito_eoi and the others followed...

If ur not convinced...ask the other people who were BAMF'ed up. Its a worthy investment if u are to ask us. tulong na namin ito nina BAMF sa ating mga Filipino mguitar and bass players..we deserve great tone to complemet our skills, no matter what level.....even this can make a miracle out of any [gooey brown stuff] guitar, make a good guitar sound better and improve your technique (kasi, sa  clarity ng tunog , ur mistakes on the fretboard are easily heard. so we as players should find ways to minimize mistakes if possible)

So far that's all i can say. I didnt create this so BAMF can tell you the technical details of this product, what I do basically is to market the scalarizers so we can share it to the Filipino musician. Kahit di philmusikero welcome to try it. How I wish you were here in manila so you can experience the scalarizer.

Isa lng pare...di ka magsisisi...hindi ko ginusto managank ung thread na sinimulan ko..it only shows that they are satisfied. be one of us...u'll definitely appreciate the results.

As I said before, nothing can do what a titanium block can do.  Electronic enhancements are not the same.  The titanium block with titanium saddles expands the vibrational qualities of the guitar and makes 10 gauges feel like 9s in ease of playing but at the same time retaining the volume and tone of 10s.

By the way, you started the comparison.  Ang mali sa iyo, you compared actual physical hardware versus something you stick to the electronics of a guitar.  I do not discount that the scalarizer can affect/improve the sound of the guitar but it will not improve it like the way titanium does.  I am not saying one type is better than the other but rather both affect the guitar sound differently.  So you cannot compare.

1. Before you claim expansiveness, let me define it.  You need a guitar with good sounding wood that vibrates and you need an amp with the ability to project sound in a 3d soundstage.  Now your mod can make things sound clearer and better but I doubt that it is expansive.

2. Even a paper in oil capacitor upgrade in the tone circuit which you maligned ages ago can be immediately heard on any amp.

3. A [gooey brown stuff] guitar will remain [gooey brown stuff] in terms of character.  In short, a dead sounding guitar will not sound alive with your mod.

4. There is no cost to ratio comparison because titanium parts affect the sound differently than any modification on the electronic circuit.

Are you really sure about Anton's strat about smokin my Strat?   Do you have an idea what my Strat has smoked?  Do you know who has used my strat to record? Do you know about all the modifications that have gone thru my Strat which still perfectly looks like a 54 Strat?

I have nothing against your scalarizer.  A year ago you kept on berating Paper in Oil Capacitors now you are promoting this one of a kind thingy.  You have no idea at all how a million peso rig will sound like so stop claiming that your small thingy does just that becase even if I am just half way there, I will tell you that it aint just a scalarizer.

Hey...here comes the madman....

Since you are boasting your temblock equipped fender..why not try my scalarized Fender 62 ri MIJ strat. compare it yourself.  Kung feeling mo eh angat ka dahil me Diezel Herbert ka and a series of your so-called super strats....try mine....just like what BAMF said, 7pm this saturday... Di ako takot because I know what my Mihiro can do....and if u combine both Akane and Mihiro's tone power...u might get blown away.

I respect your ability and knowledge about gears but please....not on our domain... we already know what ur Herbert can do thanks to other's testimony of those who already tried it....dont fool others that you already know what the scalarizer can do because u havent even tried it on your guitar. this sat 7pm...kung ipipilit mo... see you there!!!

I've read all about it, now I've got to hear it!

I'll try to visit the shop next week, but if ever it's out of stock due to this Saturday's Tone Challenge (baka dumami ang skeptics-turned advocates :)  ), how long does it usually take to produce one ? Or puwedeng magpareserve ? I'm from Parañaque kasi e, so Banawe is quite far, para lang hindi ako umuwing luhaan if I go home w/o this device.

Thanks all.   :)
