Stain on Maple fretboard

Hi i recently bought a 2nd hand rg350m ibanez. napansin ko lang may parang stain yung fretboard nya, parang something na liquid compound na nanuot dun. Ano kaya ito? the seller told me na nandun na daw talaga yun nung binili nya. Nasa dubai kasi ako kaya di ko pa mapacheck sa luthier kung ano talaga yun. I tried sanding a little just to see kung may magbbago pero waa ganun pa din. chineck ko mabuti yung fretboard wala naman ako nakitang pag alsa dun sa kahoy pantay pa din. ano kayang stain ito san kaya galing and mabubura pa po ba ito salamat po. here are the pics

i don't think that's a stain sir, its more like the wood's natural grain characteristic.

ok salamat sir, question uli if ever na stain yan from liquid or anything ano po pwede mangyari i mean baka kasi oil yan or nanuot na tubig, dapat ba mapaayos agad or may dapat ba gawin po?

well if its moisture or damaged by oil then you can actually feel it, if its oil it'll leave a sticky residue on the neck; if its water you can smell it, If the old owner soaks his guitar under water then that neck is definitely warped but by the looks of it it's straight as a  boobless cleavage. But honestly to my eyes its just how low grade maple looks like.

 I think that's just the grain of the wood. Either that or nabasa siya with some kind of liquid and it dried off like that.

Maple fretboards are bound to stain overtime, so it's best to ignore it na lang

yeah grain, yung dati kong rg parang may 3D na scales. if the surface is smooth walang problema.

That grain is one of the reasons why they consider maple on a guitar. Besides the sound.
