Wow cool! Kudos to Zoom USA! Kaya ako very careful to hit the knobs. It really helps that they angled the knobs but i guess there's still a real risk of knocking them off the pedal.

anu sa tingin nyo ung G5n ? mas ngbawas ng number of effects, binenta ko na ung G5 ko dati , pero interesado parin ako sa G5, pero kung may G5n, alin ba ang mas maganda tumunog sa tingin nyo ?

Seems to me that the G5n is an improvement of the G5, which provides solutions to the weaknesses of the G5 including dedicated scroll switches, a dedicated LCD for the pedal chain, and a dedicated tap tempo and tuner switch. And I think they removed the Z-pedal.

That being said, it's gonna sound exactly the same as the G5 or better. Yung hardware features talaga yung bibilhin mo.

I thought metal ang casing nito considering its 3.4 kg weight from the specs.

The tuner, scroll, memory/stomp, tap tempo foot switches looks flimsy.

Mukhang hindi naman to upgrade ng G5, less effects,less output choices, di pa rin pwede sa 4CM. Ang pangit ng design it's like something they'll do back when they first unveiled the 505, and instead of removing they could have upgraded the tube boost concept like having a real analog pre amp section, and why the heck they removed the Z-PEDAL?

Inalis pa nila yung mga really usable amps tulad nung DZL. In terms of effects ang daming nawalang synth-type fx saka yung mga twin pedals. Hindi man lang sila nagising sa paglabas ng Helix. Sa ilalim siguro ng lupa nakatira R&D team ng Zoom

palagay ko baka sa update na lang nung firmware yung iba kung gagawa sila ng update

Rip off kung maglalabas sila ng prang digital effects store, pero kung sa FW update kasi parang hassle given they already have base algorithms and could've put it in the first place,it seems that G5n uses the same DSP chip as the G5 so I don't think they'll be adding better effects than what they had already listed from their other effects unit.

The greates flaw sigura ay yung switches. Siguro dagdag ingat nalang sa pagtapak
