sorry more than 4yrs na kasi ako hindi nakakagala ng husto sa'tin e.

saan sa intramuros ang spot? di ko maimagine kung saan dun e..sorry a.. tapat ng Manila Cathedral?

hindi ko nga rin alam kung bakit nagsara eh, puno nga lagi yun ng mga BMX friends natin pag nagpupunta kami eh. Yung sa intramuros vacant lot yun, puro graffiti yung walls nya, malapit lang sa church yun.

Actually, if you're doing skateboarding just for fun you can do it any where. Backyard, frontyard or even just inside the house (Concrete) but if you wanna do this with passion and really wanna do this for a long time. Then roam arround like streets, parks, commercial stablishments and etc.

Ako d'fort, kapitolyo, napaka luwag at di masyado hasel ang mga ''zombies''

thanks oiljazz... 'zombies' na pala tawag sa mga parak na nanghuhuli sa thrashers... dati ata, monsters tawag namin, at kung anong matching uniform color nila, iba-iba kasi.

but i'm looking for some good area with good obstacles (street or ramp) where its nice to hangout.
sayang di ako naka-gala for sk8ing time last Christmas, hindi kinaya maisingit sa sched..ehehehe...
maybe this coming CNY...

yung sa intramuros vacant lot naman as per ryantetek, medyo malayo s'kin, talo ako sa travel time...
any good spots in paranaque or las pinas area?... well kung wala ok lang. thanks for the suggestions guys.

i've checked the DC skatepark facebook site... sa Festival mall car park sa Alabang daw ito.
i have been there a few times, pero wala naman akong nakikitang naka-setup na sk8park dun?
maybe i need to search further? alam ko malawak ang area ng car park dun e.

anyone who's been there, and can confirm that its there?

So i made my own dropthrough and LDP pump deck. With camber and concave out of bamboo weave and mahogany. Sandwiched by biaxial glass

I think elegee is also into longboarding. I saw some boards in his shop when i went there.. not too long ago

Ah talaga? I cant carve camber and concave into hardwoods, i fear cracking by the grain.
I rely on vertical lamination and glass for torsion strength and flex. But i want to try making foam cores sandwiched by carbon fiber, see how light i can make a strong deck

I used to skate nun student pa ako. I abruptly stopped skating nun one time muntik na akong mamatay dahil sa skating.

nagskate ako noong college... tuwing hapon.. puro land tricks lang ang ginagawa ko kasi takot ako sa obstacles gaya ng tubo tsaka rampa.. $:-\$

dati siyempre dagdag pogi points ang getup pag naglalaro ka.. dapat ang shirt laging may tatak gaya ng shorty's, blind, pig LOGO, etc., tapos ang sapatos.. vans, etnies, es, adio, ipath, lakai, etc.. lam mo naman ang skateshoes matatambok ang cushion.. tapos sa pantalon, ok na maski ano.. pero uso noon ang hiphop.. yung mga chinos.

pero ngayon.. halos lahat na ng mga kasama kong naglalaro noon.. maspinili na ang career. yung ibang hardcore skater eh nagbago na rin ang taste sa hobby.. nagbasketball, motocross, online gamer, photography etc..

siguro ganon lang talaga ... kasi kung sa abroad lang like U.S. yung iba ginagawa nilang career yung mga sports na ganyan..

i quit skateboarding kasi parang hassle magskate sa pinas

1. walang skate parks
2. pangit ang kalsada ubos agad ang board mo
3. mahirap maghanap ng mga lugar ng may mga skaters, kung meron man mawawala na lang
4. bawal magskate
5. magastos sa sapatos
6. walang lugar para magskate ang daming hassle

kung sa abroad lang sana ako nakatira pero hindi
