tanong ko pa, ang plano ko talaga eh isabay na lang sa may uuuwi galing dun yung cd-songbook. feb pa yun! kung di ako nakapagtiis eh sagutin ko na rin yung pang-ship nun. masyado lang kasi mahal yung shipping tapos 2 item lang.

usap pa kami ng ate ko.

depende sa kanta. sa level ni vai as a guitarist, e malamang kabisado nya halos lahat ng mode and scale sa gitara.  at makikita sa mga kanta nya yun.

pero pag-naaral mo na yung mga kanta ni vai, marerealize mo na very systematic naman yung mga ginagamit nya.

for example, yung 'for the love of god' e nasa Em chords na nasa G major scale. Not quite accurate pero around ganun yun.

oo sir counterpart key... ang tawag po dun ay Parallel Keys (Keys that go in the same flow/ pattern with different roots)  :-)

parallel keys pala yung term. di ko alam yung actual na tawag dun pero inaaply ko yun not just on Em-G pero pati rin sa ibang roots.

another musical term is added in my dictionary.  :-D

di ko pa rin kayang buuin for the love of god. di ko ma-gets yung exact notes dun sa mabilis na parts na umuulit. saka 22 frets lang gamit ko.  :-D

I think the correct term for that is 'relative minor'  :wink:

pareho lang mga nota nila,.iba ng lang ang roots

a minor =C major
e minor =G major
d minor =F major etc.

bakit ang cool magisip ng mga gimik ni vai onstage,
mahirap na nga tugtugin mga songs niya dadagdagan pa ng showmanship! damn!

,..and it looks like parang wala lang sa kanya yung mga mahihirap na guitar stunts na yun!  :-D :-D :-D

i was goung through my cd-roms earlier then i i saw steve vai's rig...to my surprise, what he says he cant live without is an electric fan in front of the stage :-D
