Ive been using EB 9-42 super slinky. Sobrang tumatagal sya and for a lazy person like me, i like my strings soft and effortless for bends thus i prefer such. Currently, i am using PRS strings, same guage but it does not perform as good as the EB. Reason why i bought this strings is becuase its cheaper than EB. But the next time i restring, id buy EB again. With proper care, it can last for more than 6 mos.

Yes with proper care. Clean up with cloth and such or you use something more? :-)

when i was using my guitar with rosewood fretboard, i spra a liberal amount of WD 40 to a cloth and then wipe it on the strings. NOw that im using my guitar with maple fretboard, i simply use those cloth that you can but from the street, i think they call it pranela or something and then wipe the strings individually.

I use almost any brand that works for me.I use d`addarios, ernie ball,Yamaha,Dean markely,Ghs, and now I`m using Rotosound(England made),They`re quite nice at an affordable price and it even has an extra no.1 string.Next,I`ll experiment on using is Snarling Dogs.Vic says they`re good too.On classisal guitars,I use Savarez,Hannabach,Augustine Regals and Darco by Martin guitars. :-D

jun castro recommended snarling dogs .10s when i had my guitar set up with him for the first time.  good feel, durable (if you're the type of person who doesn't change strings often), walang compromise sa sound.  cheap too.

been using snarling 10s for all my guitars ever since.

I'm comfortable with 11s with a 58 bass (low E) to provide tight tension sa drop tunings and slaps.

You can't go wrong with Ernie Ball Strings. I switched from D'Addario to Ernie ball. They just last, sound good and solid, never tarnishes. The longest-lasting string I've ever tried is still in my guitar right now!

The most important thing is to make sure that your strings are dry before you store your guitar. I use WD40 to keep the strings smooth although it also protects them from rust. :-D

DÁddario: 13s - for my strat to get a fat sound, sometimes I use 11's too.
John Pearse and Dean Markley Alchemy: 10-46 or 10-52 - they last long and sound good.
DÁddario 10-52 - they are my general use strings. I found 9's too light and these fit my fingers well.

woah! 13's?!?! may ganun pala? so that does fatten up the sound of a strat? how about bending though?

salamat sa mga replies. very helpful :)

you get stronger fingers:)

Ernie ball .009s. Consistent feel, doesn't eat through frets that fast, and with WD-40, can last for years without rust buildup.

floyd + change of string gauge = hell

Expect to spend 30 minutes-1 hour doing this.

A floating floyd is *guaranteed* to need readjustment after a string gauge change, sometimes even a string brand change.

so kailangan pa masanay ung mga springs ko sa 9-46... talagang literal na lumulutang na ung bridge ko eh. hehe. bukas i'll check kung mapapababa ko ung bridge..

@radimere
almost 1hr n ako nagtotono kanina.. balak ko pa pihitin ng sabay sabay ung tuning keys kanina dahil pag isa-isa, bumababa ung mga tono ung the rest because of the bridge..

Ganyan talaga yan. Tapos tono ulit. Wag mong gagawin to pag pagod ka or bad trip  :-D

Hehe, good luck. And this was just after changing from GHS's to Ernie Balls, same gauges.
