Lately I have been experiencing an extreme slow Internet Connection (SmartBRO Canopy). Then as an impulse from a subscriber like me, I called the SmartBRO hotline to check on my account status. After logging in my (SRN) Service Reference Number, a voice prompt told me that I have reached the total volume allocation of the month. And so I did researching about that and read some blogs that a 15GB per month allocation was made per subscriber. Meaning that would be 500MB per day at most!

Ensuring Fair Usage For All. myBro intends to preserve the integrity of the network in order to provide all customers with high quality fixed wireless Internet services. myBro reserves the right to suspend or terminate service to customers whose practices or use of the internet far exceeds that of a personal consumer and, as a result, impairs the quality of service that other customers experience. myBro also reserves the right to modify the Fair Usage Policy without immediate notice in order to maintain the integrity of its network services."

i'm also a smart/pldt subscriber and i say bullshait to this kind of policy. "fair usage" wtf is that?
bat di na lang sabihan na you only have a 5gb download limit or you are almost at 5 gb download.

Filed a complaint and signed the petition. Buti nalang kamo April ang end ng contract ko with SmartBro. Di nako nagrenew.
Someone from tipidpc.com said na yung data cap is at 15gb per month. Which is around 500mb per day. Sobrang nakakatawa considering yung bago kong plan na Globe DSL, 7GB ang data cap PER DAY.

haven't experienced it yet. Smart Bro Canopy user.
kaso kapag naexperience ko ito, yari kase nasa contract pa ako. at ang pinirmahan kong plan ay unlimited which means no data capping.
may nangyayari ba kapag nagreklamo sa ntc?

At least 2pc sa bahay, tapos may cp and tablet pa...
Hindi naman bumabagal...
Kung ano yung allocated bw, yun din bigay ni pldt sa dsl...
Sabi sa rainmeter ko, DL:1.9tb UL:325.4gb... :lol:
Pero ndi ko alam kung mula kailan yung binilang nya...
Yung pc na gamit ko ay 3months old pa lang... :idea:
