Wow bro . . .for me medyo pricey na for that price. I suggest na maghintay ka ng kapaskuhan yang 32k na yan maging 20 or 24 na lang. hehe

Or kung atat tlga, pwede na yan. and concern ko lang bakit naman kaya Fernando ang stands  :-o

I'm thinking about buying a Tama speedcobra twin pedal @ audiophile, but i'm in the province so i asked a friend in manila to contact the store yesterday to inquire how much the pedal is..he was told that the speedcobra costs 16,550 and the iron cobra at around 18k+. i was thinking that the speedcobra is an upgrade to the ICs so I wasnt expecting that it will be a lot cheaper than the ICs. I'm asking you guys if  I was misformed giving me the wrong price or was it really the exact price of the speedcobra here in RP? I just checked it at an online store and it shows that the SC is more expensive than the ICs. Is anyone there who got the Speedcobras? How much did you get for it? Need help. Thanks a lot! :-D

Need advise on which of my options to pick.  I need quiet cymbals, and are willing to start with hats.  Its for our small concrete walled basement where our band plays.  My present ZBTs overpower the mix.

1.  13 A Mastersounds / Z Dynobeat  hats

2.  12 A Custom Mastersound hats

3.  14 Istambul Sultans (thinking of getting the whole set of Sultans, crash plus ride)

All three available options.

I need by before Sunday.

My kit is a 5pcs. Gretsch Catalina Maple fusion kit with the 20" bass drum.

Thanks all!

For me, The Sultans were a steal. For the price of 16550 you get them all Hats,Crash and Ride. :-D
Pero Zildjian user ako and for quiet use, I would like 13 K Custom Dark hi-hats.  :-D

I haven't tried A Mastersound.
while AC mastersound is bright, lively and good chick sound.
I think meron sa classifieds na 12. But for me I like 13 better  :-D

thanks!

So if volume is the main issue, being that where we play is smaller than a usual studio, diameter is not the main consideration?

Seriously considering the sultans then, as long as they are quieter than my ZBTs.

I plan to buy tonight or tomorrow.  So Sultans for studio size venues? I dont even play metal...

Your thoughts please. :)

@Chipstah: Your inbox is full bro.hehe
You can check the zildjian/Sabian/Paiste site, Stated yung volume, pitch  and other descriptions ng hats.

12'' A Custom Mastersound for the win.. First of all its pretty good for small venues, and lastly, its "chick" sound.. And when playing it, you'll really hear the bite! But 13'' will do also..Good luck!

bro ask lang, bakit maraming may gusto ng small size na hats like 12" or 13", rare lang mag suggest ng 14" and 15"?

technically speaking, mas controlled yung sound kasi ng smaller sized hats as what sandy mentioned sa other thread. but then again, it all boils down din talaga to preference. :-)

And personal preference talaga ng gagamit..

Ok siya, in fact, safest choice siya since yun nga ay pang all around..

Talagang kanya kanyang panlasa lang talaga yan..good luck :-)

bro galing ako ng TMS kahapon, nakalagay sa test drumset yung stagg VB 13" hats, grabe ganda ng chick* and open sound, halos mapanaginipan ko nga kasi tulog na ako parang naririnig ko parin ung chick* nya, aaarrggg sige aaminin ko na parang type ko sya, pero try ko muna ibang hats para walang regret, thou konti palang experience ko when it comes to hats eh..

i dont think this would be the right thread... i'm not really a first time buyer but i would really like your input on this... i'm currently using a sabian b8 18" medium thin crash... mahina sya para sa akin pag sa gig na.no issues po yung crash ko... kaya i'm really wondering baket sya mahina.... na confirmed pa yun ng ginamit ng drummer ni paolo santos. sabi nya mahina nga... considering na ang tugtugan nila eh semi acoustic lang. ang question ko eh... ano ang magandang ipalit sa b8 18"  crash ko na malakas...na kasing price range or a bit more sa current crash ko?... thanks mga ka PM

check out medium - medium heavy cymbal types. you could try checking out stagg cymbals as well since bihira ang availability ng Sabian B8 crashes with those specific weights, within price range din ang stagg kung tutuusin.

Try Gibraltar double peds.. Not bad for newbies when it comes to Gibraltar hardwares.. Take it from me sir.. Good investments na.. Good luck!
