What you guys think of this burst? Too scattered for my taste, I dig narrow style violin burst.

I personally prefer a more faded outer edge but if it plays well get it na

Not really a fan of the heritage cherry. I'm more of a lemon or darkburst kind of guy. I think they have a special run for musiczoo this year that features a braz board amd true historic construction. Really nice if you want a vintage correct les paul off the bat. The price though is an eye whopping $12k. Haha! I'd rather get a real deal series from historic makeovers haha! Or a yaron with that kind of money.

It’s verging on clownburst style, gotta be careful there I guess. I’m too scared to actually go and look at those guitars in person.
I might get pulled in. I know they look totally different in person. Those photos are not very good.

Go and see it anyway, but leave the credit card at home!

Too late. Already spent a part of my budget for it. Could not justify plunking down that much cash only one guitar.

My question is...is it worth it bumili ng used (but not abused) 2015 Gibson Les Paul na almost 60% less than the original SRP?

and yeah...almost 90% of the population didn't like the Les Paul 100 logo on the headstock

Thanks, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

If you plan to resell, it would be hard. If you plan to keep, it would be alright.

A canvas
Three pickup position but many different tones could be created/heard with just fiddling with the volume and tone knobs, and there's also the picking dynamics. Things that I forget sometimes.

I suggest you wait, save up and buy what you really want.
That logo for me is just....nope.

Not my first LP-style guitar, but the first one I was fully satisfied with. Got it in spite of dings etc. There was just something special.

Give us the lowdown?

Fret radius, neck carve, wiring, how she weigh and all.
Congrats...love the look on that one.

Chino, Pallas: Not sure about these things lol all I know is that it's a Tokai LS85. Switched the pickups to regular SD SH-1's, but am definitely saving up for either BKP Mules or SD Seth Lovers.

There's a very very slight hint of flaming down the lower left (when facing the guitar) but I'm sure as hell Tokai saved the premium tops for the higher end models.

Really thick neck, and my only comparison is the 59 RI I tried at Crescendo. The original Gibson was a lot chunkier than this but not by much.

I think it sports a poly finish so heh. But then OK lang, I plan for this unit to be a workhorse anyway.
