LF: roland electric drum kits, does anyone know where i can find these drum kits? like the td-4kx2, but cheaper than the price in yupangco?

it's either you go for 2nd hand sets or try other brands like medeli or alesis. mas mura sa ibang stores yung ibang brands. :-D

TIA

Ok din ba sir kung ang ipapalit kung heads sa toms, remo pinstripe, and then sa snare naman, remo coated emperor? :?

ok na din yung pinstripe sa toms. sa snare though, I suggest kung remo coated ambassador na lang ikakabit mo. mas ok yung projection or pagbato ng tunog ng ambassador vs emperor na dotted. you'll need all the sound you could project given the venue na tutugtugan niyo. pero kung nabili mo na yan, idaan mo na lang sa pagtono. hopefully though hindi pumitik yung lugs ng snare mo, it happens kasi kapag uber tight ang tuning mo. masaklap sa emperor though, tight tuning sa head talaga bago lumabas yung meaty crack sound niya.

either one pareho lang soundwise and durability-wise. If I were you though, given both options; I'd go for pearl. mas madaling hanapan ng spare parts pati IMO mas matino ang hardware.

riff bro chineck ko yung thread regarding unified drum related questions pag open ko may malware daw kaya kung me thread na ganto na ok lang to remove this one na...

if you guys know someone who does repair, gives advices and facts about drum shells and anything about sa mga concerns regarding drum modifications... hope you can refer someone here. wala kasi ako kilala mga local drum makers to seek advice and services regarding sa mga plan kong modifications.

either go to lazer or go to JB for "decent" regular triple flanged hoop na pasok sa criteria mo re affordability. as for selling the kit, is it simply because nag-dent yung hoop ng floor tom mo or may possibility na mangyari ito sa lahat ng hoops mo? dahil ba sa material ng wood itself kaya marupok at nag-dent agad yung bearing edges? re sa hoops, if it just happened sa floor tom, best to check out first kung may external factors na involved (bent due to improper tuning, rusting leading to malleability due to room humidity etc..) as for bearing edges, how do you handle your drums? do you take it out for gigs? kapag nag-tune ka ng drums, nilalapag mo lang ba sa sahig etc kaya possible na na-damage? would you be able to sell it at a decent price  if ever or are you better off having it repaired instead? there's tons lots of factors to consider din kasi. ponder on these thoughts then decide.

Thanks sir Riff!

(replace the drum heads, hoops, tune, repair the bearing edge, etc.) pero pag wala talaga, diretso sa classfieds to. XD

if sa lazer, around 200-300php a piece since generic lang pero maayos. sa JB naman, I have no idea exactly how much (haven't tried yet..) pero mas magandang taunin mo kapag sale (lalo na ngayon summer sale!) para mas mura.

with the budget that you have, you could opt to buy a great if not decent set including cymbals. check out the classifieds section, may nagbebenta dun ng mga new if not rarely used or good condition sets that could pass off as new, or at the least presentable gig-wise. good luck!

go for either TAMA Superstars or Pearl Visions. best mid-level sets you could go for given the budget that you have. again, meron nitong mga ito currently sa classifieds. check out notable sellers and they would definitely help you out choose the best bang for the buck deals! cheers!

try RJ rage amps. it works well for jamming with backing tracks and play-alongs. best of all, it fits the budget perfectly! :-D

lagyan mo na lang ng duct tape yung gibraltar BD patch mo, it should work fine hehe! meron si homer aka dreamtheaterfan66f na evans patches just in case trip mo pa din bumili.
