Both are in the PAF category. The 59/09 is slightly hotter, and compliments the 57/08 on the neck. Awesome set and the split coil is such a treat!

Both guitars have their set of premium tops, sans the body shape, I guess PRS just uses great colour palettes and they make the flames pop out in 3D (double stain) better than Gibson. While Gibson used to double stain their tops on some custom shop models, they stop doing so because of historic inaccuracies. I cannot say the same with their USA models, though, spot on, PRS tops are freakin' awesome. 10 tops, artist grades are just a few options they offer.

Sweet! the brushed chrome covered ones are worth dying for lol!

I got this sometime in August.

PRS Ted McCarty DC245 Willcutt Limited 10top in Vintage Yellow, with 59/09 and 57/08 bridge and neck pickups. The regular models came with 57/08's (b&n). These were special ordered with premium tops exclusively for Willcutt. It comes with a Santana Headstock and neck bindings. Wide fat neck as it is a 2010 model.

Pasali! Finally nagka PRS din kahit SE manlang. 30th anniversary PRS SE Custom 24 in quilt maple. Chestnut color? A christmas gift to myself which inutang ko pa sa sister ko in Singapore!

..Good thing that Davis music shop had this year end sale on PRS. The sad part is, I should wait till february before I can touch those birdies!

Congrats! Almost twice a year nag ssale ang Davis, usually Christmas and/or during TGS which falls on May-July. They carry a quite good range of PRSi. SRP are good din. Mukhang Tortoise Shell pala yun Chestnut, sayang di mo pa maroroast ngayon Christmas if sa February mo pa makukuha hehe.

Thanks Sir. Actually out of country pa ako at present and pauwi this january but still maghihintay parin hanggang feb. hehe. Anyway, I compared the sale price of Davis vs sale price ng music collection shop dito sa Thailand; mas mura parin ung davis around 3.5k php for that same model. Tried to inquire sa JB music thru email kung may sale sila or if may model silang ganyan sa atin pero wla akong reply na natanggap...hahahah..needs improvement ang customer service nila..

parang mas ok yung position ng pups selector nila ngayon compare before. nung una hirap ako magswitch but nasanay din eventually. really digging that tobacco sunburst SE and the S2 custom 24

It's more versatile with the coil splits. Easier to play due to the shorter scale. Awesome guitar!
