A man who lost his eye and nose to skin cancer was told to leave a petrol station because ‘the way he looks was scaring customers’. Kirby Evans was grabbed by the manager when he went to sit down at Forks Pit Stop in Walterboro, South Carolina, to eat the doughnuts and drink he just bought. The 65-year-old told ABC News 4: ‘Next thing I know, “come here”, she jerked me into her office. The words that came out of her mouth hurt me so deep.’
