The Orange Micro Terror in a hybrid tube amp in the sense that it only has a tube preamp section coupled with a 20-watt solid state power section. It's small and ultra portable, though. Had cases where the mini toggle switch (on/off) gave up and had to be replaced.

The Cub8/10/12 would be more in the ballpark of an all-tube amp having tubes on both preamp and pweramp sections.

All things considered, I'd take the Cub provided that the usual issues be fixed (replace/jumper thermo-resistor, fix LED indicator lamp, complete retube with a more decent set).

+1. hasel lang sa una yung issues ng cub, but once an amp tech fixes all these items, its a great amp!

Epiphone Les Paul Plus Top Pro Vs. Gibson Les Paul Studio 2008

any advice and suggestions?

i haven't tried any Gibson Les Pauls, base on some friends, Epi LP Plus Top Pro are close to a Gibson LP (idk which),

Epi LP PTP costs like $550, i found a 2008 Gibson Les Paul that costs $650, will it be worth it if I'm going to replace my Epi LP
to that Gibson LP?

Speaking of Elixir strings for acoustic guitars, what's the difference between the polyweb and the nanoweb?

popsie, first hand experience ko:

Nanoweb - Longer life, brighter tone
Polyweb - Long life, but not as long as Nanowebs, natural sounding tone (think acoustic strings na naka break-in na/settle)

personally, I loved the tone of the Polyweb. kaso hirap maghanap. so, I settled for nanoweb nalang for convenience.

Naka Elixirs acoustic guitar ko ngayon kaso naghihimulmol/nagbabalat yun coated strings. Di ko maalala kung poly o nano ba naikabit ko.

paps 1 year  ang span ng elixir sa akin. yun huling set na ginamit ko halos 3 years nakatago muna. i dont really feel the need of hoarding.

Planning to get a Zoom MS-50G. I need a single pedal for my modulation needs although I don't really need them too often (Flanger, Phaser, Tremolo, Chrorus in order of importance for me)
Im considering this pedal just because I can combine multiple effects at a time plus it has a built in tuner and I don't really like having another footprint just for a tuner (currently using a clip on tuner)
My questions is, since this has so much more effects to offer which I don't need, is there a better pedal for my needs considering I will only take it if it's cheaper than the MS-50G?

nothing beats MS50G in versatility bruh IMO.
why?

*small footprint. (size of a normal stompbox)
*new version updates
*lotsa effects that you may need if time comes
*good amp modeling patches
*still run in 9v.

cheaper version or copies may not satisfy your needs IMO. (kung meron man)

agreed. you can check out the stuff from NUX, but IMHO, mas reliable parin si ZOOM.
