question about cabinets in multi effects... what the heck are they?( i just recently read my manual and found it there and it didnt explain a single thing of what they actually do? i tried it but didnt hear any difference

Cabinets = lalagyan ng speakers which are being fed from an amp head. 2x12, 4x12, 2x15, 2x10, 4x10, etc.

may tanong lang po. may nagtanong kasi sakin na friend kung ano daw magandang amp. balak nya kasi magbuo ng studio. di ko din kasi alam kung ano maganda e. pwede palist naman ng lahat. specs at sana pati price range. tnx

noob ako dito mga tol hingi lang ako ng advice.

Squier HSS with 250k pots, Maple fretboard 21 frets, Alder Body ang gitara ko.

gusto ko paayos kasi 9years na yun saken mga less than 10 times ko pa lang ata nabubuksan. basta lahat ng electronics. kinakalawang na din yung pickups. eto yung mga tanong ko:

ayos lang ba palitan ng stereo jack yung input jack?
kung palitan ko ung stock pick up ng DiMarzio PAF Pro sa bridge, HS-2 sa mid and HS-3 sa neck with 500k pots?

madami nako nabasa tungkol sa PAF Pro tapos sa DiMarzio.com ok daw talaga ng HS-3 combination dun. kaya lang nung tiningnan ko yung output level, ang laki ng difference. mga 200 ata. baka hindi pantay ang tunog ng gitara ko.

try mo air norton sa bridge it complimets the neck and mid PUPs i also have my strat H-S-S din with 500 pots for some they find it too bright pero oks lang you have a humbuck bridge naman

un din tanong ko dude. what will i get if i switch it to stereo? will it sound better? kasi the last effect in my chain has a stereo output, but of course before it reaches that part all the other peds ar mono.

ah ganun ba? pag hindi ko pinalitan yung pots, halimbawa 250k pa din, hindi rin siya magiging bright sounding masyado? nakita ko lang din sa pjcmusic.com yung EMG SELECT pups nila, ok din ba yun? mura lang eh.

the stereo output of a pedal effect is for you to plug it into.... lets say two amplifiers so that the stereo output is rendered physically by the two amps.

example: stereo delay with stereo output. so the delay goes ping-pong-ping-pong from one amp to another amp.

or a phaser with stereo output, the guitar swirls around from one amp to another.

setup properly on-stage it should sound great.

also great for recording situations, especially when tracking direct, because you could record a stereo track real-time.

 

so i dont know if you should need to convert your jack to stereo.... because the output of your guitar will probably still be mono.

regarding the jack---
you don't need to make it stereo as your guitar and amp are mono anyway.

Depende. If he's gonna use active pickups, stereo jack is the way to go so that the battery is off when no jack is plugged in. But yeah, mono parin ang labas.
