Posible ba na gumawa na lang ng strap-on na klase ng preamp tapos isusukbit na lang sa strap to juice up the signal before hitting the first pedal?

I'm thinking of one na designed for a high-impedance to low-impedance signal converter na device na ikinakabit sa strap para gamit na lang ng maiksing cable from guitar to strap-preamp, then to first pedal using a longer cable. or meron na nito?

my GFX 4 ako and for sale din..

ang masasabi ko ok ang gfx 4.. maganda ang Multi lola na kapag unti unti mong natutunan mag create nang sarili mong patches.. may isa lang sa tingin ko ang sablay sa mga multi eh yung expression pedal ng wah.. masyado manipis lang.. pero ok din naman..

pm mo lang ako kung gusto mo ang GFx 4 ko.. tapos pag usapan natin..

the right installation of volume and tone pots are still unclear to me. Kindly help me by giving useful information about their use. Your help will be much appreciated.

Additional Info: I am playing a Yamaha RGX821 D, what pot should i use for my volume and tone?

i don't understand the "... for guitar KNOBS" part...

as for choosing between the 500K and 250K..

the lower the value the pots the warmer the tone...which leads to...the higher the value the brighter the tone...

that is why 250K are normally used in strats because strats are brighter compared to les pauls..that's why normally, 500Ks are used.

A common starting point would be 250K for Single Coils and 500K for Humbuckers. Whether you stick with this or not is up to you. Give it a listen and act accordingly. Experiment. That's the only way to determine what's "right" for you axe. If you want to complicate things, the value and make of the capacitors used can also affect the axe's tone.

Since it's a pain in the butt to swap pots in and out of a 335-type, I just stuck with the stock 500Ks in my clone when i potted the pots and called it a day.

Guys please help me I am having problems with my zoom 707II nagloloko ang input niya, minsan nawawala ang sound kailangan pa ipuwesto ng maayos ang jack para maayos ang tunog. Sure ako na hindi sa jack yung problem kasi bago naman mga jack ko.

Yan talaga isa sa mga problema ng 707II and maybe other Zoom pedals. Hindi robust yung layout and construction. Anyway, sa tingin ko one of two things yan. It's either cold solder yung connection sa jack and nag-loosen yung jack pin/s sa board OR nabali yung clip support sa jack assembly itself. Kung loose cold solder connection, resolder mo lang yan. Kung nabasag yung jack, you will have to replace it. Problema, wala kang mabibili na exact-fit replacement. You will have to improvise.

It's also possible na napwersa yung board and may crack yung foil trace sa jack. In which case, you will have to resolder the trace and reinforce the board crack. Pag ganyan situation, hindi na stable yung jack connection and consider buying a new one or upgrade.

BTW, jack is yung sinasaksakan and plug yung sinasaksak.

Try mo re-tension mo yung contacts. Kung kaya mo buksan (make sure na kaya mong ibalik lahat ng tatanggalin mo), pansinin mo yung socket, may mga metal prongs yun. Slightly bend inward lang, para may kagat or good contact sa plug pag pumasok.

if i may, here's 3 options...

1)
If your unit is still under warranty period, better bring it back to where you bought it, para less hassle sa time & effort, wala pang bayad (usually).

2)
But if you bought it 2nd hand, maybe its best you ask the previous owner if it's still under warranty, then do option 1.

3)
if its past the warranty period, you have 3 choices...
3.1) do kalikot on your gear, with the previous suggestions by our fellow forummates. or
3.2) if you're not up to doing kalikot on your gear, still bring it to any music shop that can repair it (JB music for instance), & pay the service/parts amount.
i think its ok, at least less hassle, in case any problem after you test it, at least a back-job will not cost anything. or
3.3) some expert-philmusic-techies might be of help, at a lower price i think.

just a thought...
hope you have your unit fixed, ok din yan zoom. great unit. for users before stepping-up to higher gear calibre.

I don't know if may nakapg post na tungkol dito, pero may gusto ko lang itanong about gdi21 plus multieffects. pag ba niling ko yung amp modeller sa multieffects na parang ganito:

(e.g amp-->gdi21-->gfx5-->guitar)

mamomodel din ba yung tunog nung multieffects ko in the way na makukuha nya yung tunog ng amp modeller? and magiging safe din ba kung rumekta ako sa house pag naka modeller plus multieffects?

gusto ko kasi sana lahat ng reverb effects (spring,room,hall, etc..) nasa isang pedal na.
