tanong ko lang, bakit wala atang me gustong gumawa ng core training. abs is only part of your core. dyan nagre-rely ang balance nyo. tsaka wala ring me gusto mag-work out ng obliques, hehe. tsaka glutes and flyes, wala din.

grabe yun legs...

para sa akin, yun ang pinakamahirap i work out.

but I do try to work it out 2x a week since I got back from a 5 month rest.

day 1 - chest/biceps
day 2 - legs
day 4 - shoulders/triceps
day 5 - legs/back

hehehe, meron akong leg workout bro, day 2. =) para sa kin, medyo mahirap din talaga pag legs, dahil kinabukasan after ng workout mo, parang hindi ka makatayo ng maayos, pero ok lang, nadevelop ko na  yung leg strength na gusto ko. btw, parang mahirap pagsabayin yung back at legs, kasi parehas major muscle group yun di ba?

i forgot to mention, i do ab exercises every workout day, so my workout is as follows:

day 1 - chest / triceps / abs
day 2 - legs / biceps / abs
day 3 - back / shoulders / abs

about glutes, kasabay ng leg day ko yun and flyes naman sa chest day.

Any advice on supplements po b? I would like to try taking amino 2222, ok lng po ba ito and how many times aday shoud itake it kya?

wow six times a week. I know brandon boyd has a trainer as well as travis barker. popstars like justin and usher works out like there's no tomorrow (talk about 1000 crunches/day).

@Angst - no problem. I'll post the rest of the workout routine you can use when I get the chance. Ang hirap ayusin in order eh, hehe

Curious lang,  how much fat ang na-burn ng muscles?  Kasi you mentioned a lot.

i posted it before. 1 lb of muscle burns 50 extra calories, without doing anything. add 10 lbs. of muscle, that's extra 500 calories/day.

3500 calories = 1 lb. of fat loss.

Assuming you are correct, then an average person with 18% percent body fat and 10 lbs. of muscle will shed to a 6% bodyfat in two months doing nothing.
Sobrang laki ng estimate nyo.

well its not an estimate. ask any personal trainer and verify that as a fact. The thing is, you need to workout in order to gain muscles. Where's the confusion?

simple logic, if you gained muscle and you thought, hmmm. I'll stop working out, since I'll be burning calories with the muscles that I gained. Hindi ba idiotic naman yun? You'll be sedentary in two months. I didn't make that up myself, so just verify it yourself.

Pero sa mga muscle mags ang tataba ng mga bodybuilders pag off season even those competing in the olympiad.  Have you seen Lee Priest after the contest? Mas mataba pa cya kay Bomber Moran. How about Ronnie Coleman, with those megapounds of muscle ang laki pa rin ng tyan nya.

Oiiiii gymaholz!!!  :-D :-D :-D Haaaaay... ang excercise ko lang ngayon lakad mula bus stop hanngang skul and vice versa  :-( sobrang kapagod kasi magcomute kaya di na makapagbuhat pagbalik. Tagal kong nastop sa schooling kaya di na sanay magcommute, san pedro laguna - intramuros. Hopefully pag naka lipat na ako dito sa lola ko sa manila makabuhat na ulit. Uy baka merong nag gym dito na along balic-balic or sampaloc lang, gym ako sa gym nyo  :-D

nag gym ako dati from 100 kgs noon napa baba ko ang timbang ko ng around 70 kgs. 6 months yun.

naaalala ko ang bibigat na ng binubuhat ko nun sobra. every 3 days pabigat ng pabigat. loko yung instructor ko eh gusto yata akong isali sa body building hehehe..

kaso napansin ko pag tinitira ko ang chest ko may pumipintig sa dib-dib ko. kaya nagpa check up ako... konektado daw sa puso yung pumipintig sa dib-dib ko. kaya ayun binawalan na ko ng doktor na mag gym.

ngayon lumobo nanaman katawan ko. lagpas lagpasan na ang timbang ko ngayon. ganun nga talaga pag tinigil ang gym lolobo ka ng husto.

kaya payo sa lahat ng gymaholic. hinay hinay lang sa pagbubuhat wag magmadali. pag may nararamdaman na iba ipa check up kagad para hindi lumala.

ang pagbubuhat naman kasi hindi sa bigat eh.. kailangan mo lang ngalayin yung sarili mo..

like me.. dati nabuo ko dibdib ko by lifting 50-60lbs lang.. as in ang gaan!! pero dinadahan dahan ko to the point na parang ambigat na.. :D beleive me it works!!

pero ngayon? wa na ako pakiealam.. hahahahaha

ako sa bahay na lang nagbubuhat...bumibili na lang ng plates pag gusto ko ng bigatan yung buhat ko...2 dumbbells lang may iba iba na akong workout na nagagawa...pero iniiwasan kong mabuo yung traps(muscles sa magkabilang tabi ng leeg) ko kasi ayokong magmukang taguro eh hehehee...

grabe kahapon wala akong magawa...pinagsama sama ko lahat ng plates sa isang dumbbell lang, 20 pounds hahahaa! 20 reps per set tapos yung third set sinagad ko hanggang 30...pag baba ko nung dumbbell nag react agad yung muscles na parang minumura ako hahahahaah!

hindi ako makapaligo ng maayos hahahahaaah!  :lol:

pag diet ka at the same time nagpapalaki ng muscle. bawasan ang timbang at damihan ang repetition... yun talagang nakaka ngalay sa muscle.. sarap ng feeling nun..

nakaka miss mag gym ah.. mag gym kaya ulit ako... kaso baka matuluyan ako. hehehe

parang... kaya ang ideal age sa pag gym hanggat maaari eh 18-20 pataas.

pero may napanood ako dati sa believe it or not na batang nag g-gym. napaka lalaki na nga ng muscle eh. ewan ko lang kung tumangkad siya ngayon.
