si kuya long hair na mejo malaking tao sa audiophile Ali mall branch.. nalimutan ko name.. maayos sya kausap at kahit anung itanung ko sakanya sinasagot nya ng malinaw at magalang. masarap pa maginquire ng price sakanya kase talagang hinahanap nya yung price ng unit kahit wala silang stock..

Lazer Festivall mall.. maayos din kausap at kakwentuhan yung mga tao dun..

okay din sila sa Lazer!The guys there let me try out their Goldea AT-30( a really good sounding MIC 30 watt Tube amp) even though i said i wasn't sure that i was gonna buy it since i had another option.

My favorite by far is Ishibashi Shibuya branch. When you buy a guitar, they will change the strings to a new set of D'Addarios (your choice of gauge), setup the guitar, clean/condition the fretboard, clean all electrical contacts, and polish the body. They even know that if you're taking the guitar on a plane, they will detune it to prevent neck issues (strings contract in cold cabin temp). They take their time to do this even if the store is full of customers. Then all new guitar purchases come with free tuner (Greco), fretboard cleaner, guitar polish, and a basic black Ernie Ball strap. The Japanese attention to detail is really remarkable. I'll gladly pay the premium to get this kind of service.

I hope that all local stores follow this model. I can live without the freebies... its the service and knowledge that counts. Seeing that all their staff are trained technicians, and that you are treated properly (hindi nagmamadali sa asikaso) even if the store is full gives the customer confidence to buy.

Sa local, I like Audiophile Eaton branch. Because its an isolated (not much foot traffic) branch, I got to test any guitar I wanted without being rushed.

any music store dito sa japan ay ganito. bago nila ibigay yung gitara sa iyo ay itotono muna ng staff nila ng maayos.
kala mo nga sila ang bibili ng gitara kasi ang tagal din nila ayusin muna yung gitara bago nila ibagay sa iyo.

The Music Source Ali Mall - Very very accomodating sila!
JB Music North Edsa - I know some of them, and mabait sila
Sound Essentials - Sa sobrang bait, naging kaibigan ko na din yung mga salesman nila.
Music for the Little Mozart (Lyric) North Edsa - Thumbs up sa friendly salesman, they even let me try their guitars and basses even when I just hang out with them

When I was starting with electric guitars, si June from JB Music Southmall ang naging suking salesman ko.
Transparent, honest and may genuine concern sa mga buyers. Inaalam nya talaga ang kelangan mo regardless of what level of playing and experience ka sa guitar. Meron kasi iba na ang taas ng tingin sa sarili lalo na kung halata sa buyer na baguhan lang o kaya hindi naman sure buyer at nagwiwindow shopping lang which is bad para sakin kasi hindi fair treatment. Bukod sa naexperience ko to personally, ngayon na mas may alam na ko about the guitars I still notice this na naeexperience naman ng iba na nakakasabay ko sa isang music store.
Kaso nawala na lang sya bigla dun tapos ang pumalit yung guy named Angelo. ayos din kausap and nagbibigay din ng tips about their products. Kung feeling nya hindi best option yung binebenta nila ituturo ka nya sa iba kahit competitor pa yung meron nung product
Kaso wala na din sya dun sa JB music and honestly I'm pretty disappointed with the service of the guys in JB music Southmall ngayon. Nagtanong ako about their amps and takamine guitars and bukod sa hindi ganun kagaling product knowledge nila may attitude sila na ipromote yung product lang nila which I understand but dont personally prefer kasi mas gusto ko yung "treating customers fairly"
So when I was about to buy an acoustic guitar I was contemplating between a Takamine and an Ibanez AW but ended up buying the Ibanez because of the service I got from Carlo of Audiophile MOA. Very professional and accomodating. Magaan kausap and magalang. He asked what I was looking for in an acoustic guitar and he looked for the model closest to what I wanted and went through the details with me. Sa JB Music MOA and Southmall I felt na sobrang pushy nila for me to buy their product without considering the specifics of what I was looking for.
Napahaba yung kwento ko but bottom line is, I personally prefer staff who provide personalized service to their customers. Medyo mahirap kasi I noticed na depende sa tao to and hindi sya shared value ng isang music company - meaning I cant expect the same level of service I had from Audiophile MOA if I went to another branch of Audiophile for example
