Which drumset is better..?
« on: February 08, 2009, 02:40:43 AM »
guys, help.

namimili ako ng drumset na bibilhin.

beginner palang ako, mga 1 month palang ako nagddrum lessons.

and im planning to buy my drumset so i can practice at home,

3 drum sets yung pinagpipilian ko. help me to choose naman kasi di pako experienced kung alin dito yung dapat piliin.

1.) Pearl Target drumset, bnew, 25k, 18 inch yung bass drum niya with planet z hihat, crash, ride cymbals..

(this feb11 ko pa mkkta)

3.) Sonor Force 507, bnew, 26k, 18inch bass drum nya, with zbt 3 cymbal set ( crash/ride, & hihat ).

ayun.. yun 3 yung choices ko.. di ako sure sa pipiliin ko kasi baguhan palang ako.. i need comments and suggestions from experienced guys like you. hope you comment.

thanks in advance!

God Bless you all.

On my opinion there is no drumset that it better.

Since preferrably if you get one, the setup should be your preference.
Always look for a lot of aspects on the drumkit.

Type of wood.
Thickness.
Depth.
Tuning.
Cymbals ^_^ (favorite)

It all depends on your taste.
On how you want to play your music.
If you want to be versatile.
If you want to be on one track only.
Its your choice man.

sa tama nalang basta ok pa yung condition nung kit (at nung cymbals) at kung magandang series na yan considering to its price.
pero kung tagilid yung condition nya sonor ka nalang, maganda na rin to at marami na maytiwala sa kit na to. good luck sa paghahanap! :-P

For me.

1.Tama Package - tingnan mo muna kung anung series yun at condition.

2. Sonor 507 - The set is decent and the cymbal package is better.

3. Pearl Target - You'll never go wrong with pearl, but with 18" Kick and the   planet Z. Got 2nd tought na.

^^^ Agree ako sa ranking ni Sandy.

Points to ponder:

2) Number of shells: how many toms? More toms but lower price is more sulit.
Ang 18in bass drum, mas mainam gamitin sa small venues, which you'll probably do.
4) Series. Pearl Target is about as "entry-level" as Sonor 507 (bale, clincher ang cymbal set na kasama.

I agree...there's no kit that would be superior than another...if you are comparing similarly within a certain price range.

And...though many would deny it (I would)...scientific studies have proven that anything we purchase is emotionally motivated. So...don't worry about it...take the plunge. =o)

But if you need reassurance...you can always take a trusted friend who has enough experience shopping around for kits.

But...I'd say having an 18" kick is really great! You can always mic it up if you need a bigger sound.  8-)

On my opinion there is no drumset that it better.

since you are a biginner, means you will take some time to hone your drumming skills, pick a kit that looks strong enough to stay with you and keep up with you for a long period of time.

the best way is to play it and feel it, if it gives you those good vibrations then take it. the set up, feel and sound of the kit should complement your musical moods and emotions.

ayoko n mag bigay ng brand, kantyao nanaman ako nya e. :-D

you can go for the standard size, para maramdaman yung real basic.

pero before ka maghold ng drums, tune your self first, pagaaralng mabuti yung reason kung bakit ka magdudrums, go for the deeper meaning of music and drums.

may personal opinion lng ako about the Pearl Target Series drumset. ung friend ko kasi bumili ng ganyan, mejo na-disappoint lng ako sa pagkakaproduce ng drums ung hardware and stands mejo mahina. parang ngayon nga mas gugustuhin kong bilhin ung mga bagong model ng fernando drums, mura na maganda pa itsura hehehe

check mo kung anong model ung tama kit, panalo din dami cymbals kasama. sana magaganda hehe

goodluck!
