very nice pet there, he he he

evolt 300 - i got hold of this in the states alongside the panasonic, i considered it also pero yung design at paghawak di ko nagustuhan lalo nung nakita at hawak ko na, i considered it already dito pa lang sa pinas because sya pa lang sa mga true dslr ang may LCD viewfinder finder talaga, iniwan ko rin yung canon 400D, mas mabenta pa yun nikon d80, angat siya sa benta, performance, review and features ata kaso can't reach ng bulsa ko and finally the winner was PANASONIC LUMIX fz50 w/c i don't regret, not any minute of it.

anyway, to each his own, kung san tayo masaya... happy clicking to everyone.

 :-D

@franco, in due time you'll have you dream "pana" to shoot enemies (subjects) , he he, in the meantime "love the one you're with" as the title of a song goes........yupp, it's the (IR) infrared technique rendered in PS CS2, it's one of the latest craze with other pros locally and abroad , hind rin kaya gumastos para sa real infrared lens at ok din naman rendered na lang with PS, also i'm here waiting for my raynox dcr-250 macro lens and P4k din inabot imported and paid via paypal from singapore, wala kasi lens accessories ang panasonic dito, hirap eh, mahal pa.

good day!

mr vic, those are truly amazing shots:)

i also like mr jim ayson's pics, and slave unit's. very professional shots.

is it possible to get such crisp, clear shots with an ordinary digital point and shoot camera, and just edit using photoshop? thanks.

@starfugger, to tell you the truth, i'm still wondering if i had really taken myself to a higher consciousness in terms of taking photos, atleast this was my main goal and i think these are the result - by the way, i'm not young at age, 38 here, but only got a year in holding digital cams, first it was a panasonic fx-7 and now it's fz50, i postponed moving to a true dlsr because of cost in acquiring lens and i'm still in early stage. yes, it's very possible as you can see at my site: http://flickr.com/photos/visualenlightenment/ , the fz50 works like a true dslr in features and in the photos produced and will likely be better if enhanced in PS CS2, format i use is RAW image eating up a high 19+MB of disk space per picture in my 1gb SD card, the picture is developed with SILKYPIX RAW DEVELOPER, a software that comes with the panasonic fz50 unit, final image is saved by silkypix as jpeg format and finally processed with photoshop if needed. for daily shooting situations like parties and events, use jpeg format in your camera, for professional format use RAW if you have this option with your unit. i hope this helps a lot in your learning.

and finally, everyone is encouraged to join: http://www.digitalphotographer.com.ph/
