All Along the Watchtower. Every famous version (Original by Dylan, the most famous version by Hendrix, and the ultra groovy one by Dave Matthews Band) is its own song. I remember reading somewhere Dylan actually considers Hendrix's version as superior.
Considered rock ba ang Phoenix? Anyway, Birdy's cover of 1901 was pretty badass.

Just finished listening to Birdy's version of "1901" - Astig nga! :)
whoever her producers were, they have good taste. I think it did justice to the song. especially considering I would have never thought of making a cover that way.

Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, covered by Bruce Dickinson...sung by a man who can really sing!
Sails of Charon (originally by Scorpions with Uli Jon Roth on guitar) then covered by Testament. Skolnick really nailed it here, far better than YJM's version with much less wank.
Rock Bottom (originally by UFO) covered by Tesla...i really didn't want to admit it, but that song was made really well, and their guitarist really captured the feel of the original, along with the solo.
You Really Got Me (originally by the Kinks) covered and shot with testosterone by Van Halen
Mr. Big (by Free) and Shy Boy (by David Lee Roth) and Addicted to that Rush (Talas) all covered by Mr. Big...much fire going on pag Mr. Big tumira!
